Ugh why didn't you hire a better translator (aka me lol) that's from NY but knows the j-hiphop culture too. You tryna tell the audience about how there's a side of Japan that people don't usually see just by visiting and this rapper is being the trailblazer and you lost in translation...smh. I love KOHH. I think he's such a cool and fresh guy with a new fresh look and style in his music. Also, I'm pretty tired of music from the US and UK. I mean, yeah guys you've got some really dope artists but the rest of the world does too, let them in! It's crazy that KOHH isn't a big star already - i've been following him for almost 2 years now.
@user-ql4ov2ik1t8 жыл бұрын
I'm so honored to watch this one that Japanese hip hop artist came up in Hot 97,but everyone knows the problem is different language between Japanese and English.. And also I'm sad kohh couldn't explain his new album... But I know how hard Japanese people speak English If there was real translator,it would have been much better and awesome. Kohh eventually became world artist, this is great evidence, well done, I will support him as fan and one of Japanese person!!!!!!

Awesome that they got Kohh, however it feels like such a missed opportunity. They are speaking too much, too quickly and using much far too difficult words and slang, for someone who doesn't really speak much English. How is he supposed to understand what they are asking him? Also, is that guy next to him supposed to be a translator? There is so much interesting stuff going on here in Japan and it would be great to see a a cultural exchange on a higher level.

Good way to expand his fanbase doing these kinds of interviews even though it probably is a little weird at his current language level. Especially with how fast the interviewers talk and the language they use, that shit is intimidating for someone just learning lol.

Interesting interview... I've always had a trip to Japan on my bucketlist . The whole Japanese hip-hop scene is large and they have a genuine appreciation for our culture.
KOHH IS FIRE, BEEN LISTENING TO HIM FOR A WHILE, DONT SLEEP!!
this is Dope I'm glad they really took time to check kohh out as a artist for real.
Saw him live two days ago, literally the kindest dude ever.
Wow congrats for being one of the first ppl to interview kohh from the states this is d.a legendary
We see you Laura! Looking forward to watching you polish those solo skills.
I been listening to KOHH for a minute. He's got some cuts and even thought I don't know what he's saying his songs are fire. I'm waiting for him to do shows out here.
If you pause at 5:17, the guy on the right is just makin a face like "Fuuuck, I said I sorta speak English"

he's so cute omg Kohh
I love KOHH. I think he's such a cool and fresh guy with a new fresh look and style in his music. Also, I'm pretty tired of music from the US and UK. I mean, yeah guys you've got some really dope artists but the rest of the world does too, let them in! It's crazy that KOHH isn't a big star already - i've been following him for almost 2 years now.
Wish the volume was higher. I'm really hoping to see more of Kohh here in the USA. I listen to a lot of his Japanese music. He can really make it here even if he is only speaking Japanese.
expected more from the interview but his music sounds fire AF... that Paris track🔥🔥🔥
aye even if he didnt talk much its good to see him on hot97
KOHH is a legend... A Living Legend (y)
KOHH is greatness - Team Tomodachi!
just cause u got kohh im subbing
Kohh英語あんまり喋れないのにインタビュー受けてるのすごいよ。彼を尊敬。
Awesome that they got Kohh, however it feels like such a missed opportunity. They are speaking too much, too quickly and using much far too difficult words and slang, for someone who doesn't really speak much English. How is he supposed to understand what they are asking him? Also, is that guy next to him supposed to be a translator? There is so much interesting stuff going on here in Japan and it would be great to see a a cultural exchange on a higher level.
kohh is so soft and shy i love him sm
Kohh is my inspiration!
Didn't expect kohh here. Really happy that he is being recognized. He is dope AF. i though he could speak english guess i was wrong
Good way to expand his fanbase doing these kinds of interviews even though it probably is a little weird at his current language level. Especially with how fast the interviewers talk and the language they use, that shit is intimidating for someone just learning lol.
"He Kills it"..... he really did. Kohhs verse on It G Ma is the best of the four I think. Amazing.
Good for you Laura doing your thang
Get this guy the interview he deserves

He knows a little English and j stash has probably picked up a little Japanese after hanging with him for a while. Also he has someone around to translate. After a while you learn how to get past that language barrier.

I can't believe KOHH is at Hot 97... Respect
Bro just dropped 🔥
Were can I find all his music I saw him perform live on a show and god damn did he kill it
KOHH getting recognized more, that's crazy. My favorite song on Dirt II is Hate Me.
business and art is one of kohhs good songs
Love Kohh. Please do Song Minho from Korea
i love kohh alot 😇😇
it's crazy it took about 3 to 4 years for Kohh to be recognized in certain parts of America. Vice did it first if I'm not mistaken.
Christ, this is a pleasant surprise. Kohh is mad dope.
This was cool to see them being interviewed but I wish they would have asked about Loota too and had a better rep for them so things could have been translated more clearly.
I'm actually live in korea as korean but also listen japan hiphop and there many potential i think
Kohh is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lol, KOHH is too cute! He was struggling to talk english, but it's so cute!
Kohh is the man

いきなりオススメ出てきた
I first heard of him on Japanese-American singer Utada Hikaru's song "Boukyaku" been listening to him since
"people dont realize hes on it g ma" LOL right even though thats basically what made him grow in popularity
YOU SHOULDVE USED THE TRANSLATOR MORE THIS INTERVIEW HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL WTF.

holy shit. they finally have Kohh. I hope they bring on the older artists that paved the way in Asia
aaaayy kohh worldwide
Please interview Keith ape or jay park and the entire AOMG or illionaire gang 😭😭 people should know about those cause it's really amazing
And now KOHH has a song with Duke Deuce 🔥🔥
we made it!!!
She said "his father committed suicide" so secondarily I was like woah what the hell
they got kohh . great
kohh project was flames boi
He needed a better translator so he could be more comfortable to speak about his music/passion because I know he probably was super stoked to be there but didn’t know how to articulate it the best way… He’s owed a better interview. LOVE KOHH NEVER NEVER FORGET!
Why interview someone who doesn't understand English well enough to have a conversation? I don't see what the point of this was

he wants to interview people because he wants to know what they think and say. it doesn't matter if he is foreign or not. Ebro is interested and if he wants to know about him more and his culture you can't do shit about it
kohh is dope
Love Laura
I saw him live at Rhymester in Tokyo and he brings the energy. So fucking good and so humble. He always thanked everyone after each song.... respect 会いたい! >.< 頑張ってKOHH~~~
I luhh kohh
He said Fabolous. That's dope
im proud because she did mentioned joe flizzow from malaysia
KOHH and loota are amazing
kohh is adorable
Laura did a good job on her own in this interview. Especially considering she was dealing with a person who doesn't understand the English language fully.
I been knew about Japan when i was young because i used to love Japan lol. Research the Yakuza to start, you will find a lot
Hey, HOT 97! I really appreciate this interview. I became a fan of KOHH last year when I saw him on "ITGMA." I have a bunch if rap and hip hop music from Asia on my KZread channel and Facebook page. If you want, you can check it out on my KZread profile or on Facebook (facebook.com/bowloframenmusic). I'm from Miami, so if he wants to do a show in New York, then he should do one here too lol.
YESSS KOHH WHO SAW THIS FIRST ON IG??
Kohh has a smooth flow
