Global Interfaith Summit at The WORLD EXPO, Dubai, 16 Nov 2021
Along with representatives of HH The Pope, the Grand Imam of Al Azhar and HH Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS, ten prominent international speakers, enlightened the ‘Global Interfaith Summit’, co-organised by the governments of Italy and the UAE.
In the presence of HE Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence of the UAE invited leading global religious leaders of all faiths at the Italian Pavilion on 16 November 2021, at the WORLD EXPO 2020. On this International Day of Tolerance, the UAE also launched 'The International Tolerance Alliance', an initiative like the UN that includes religions for peaceful coexistence.
