Abs stops the wheels from completely locking up above a certain speed to minimise braking distance i can feel a sort of pulsing on the lever/pedal when it does its job

Hey Alex how do you slow down when you come to a stop at say an intersection? Do you pull in the clutch and kick through each gear say from 4 to 1st and kick down at appropriate speed or do you do a form of engine braking where you release the clutch after each down shift? I always look for videos of this stuff but it often seems overlooked.

I appreciate you for taking the time to point this out. I do exactly what you described. Clutch in, all the way down to first, hold clutch until time to go or go into neutral if I feel it’s going to be a long wait. Other times, not as often, I downshift into each gear and use engine braking to slow down. I’m pretty certain that I’m not using the correct method to slow down and come to a stop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
