I was a DJ/news reader at an FM and AM stations in my teens and ITCZ was always mentioned in the weather report but I never fully understood it till now. Thank you!

This in all fairness is one of the best tutorials I have come across on any online platform, let alone KZread. Simple yet excellent explanation of topics otherwise considered complex. Great work!

Very few are thr who actually can clear fundamentals and basic concepts of geography. Students really need you. Not everyone can teach Geography but you always make it so understandable. So pls keep going. A very good work .

Coming to your query, Yes the EL NINO has considerable impact on the ITCZ as it shifts towards the south (due to weakening of the Low Pressure) leading to droughts in India during El Nino. La Nina is the re-strengthening of the original conditions after El Nino & hence, the ITCZ would shift back to it's original position over North India. Hope that helped. Keep learning.
