@@AnHeC i think it's not about how many products were used, it's about the amount of products that were put on the face. Like how heavy it is. That you do not have to put heavy amounts of makeup to have smooth skin, you just need knowledge on what and how to put things correctly.

@@fmsriver you missed the point by a mile. This makeup requires more products and more time. You can't slap on a minimal amount of foundation and hope for the best. Plus, it's not as little makeup as you seem to think. Remember it's on camera. In person, in daylight she would look way different.

@@AnHeC it is correct products and little amount of makeup. A lot of knowledgable makeup artists do this and indeed looks natural. You just need the right products to use, such as correct shade of concealer or corrective concealer. This is just taking alot of time bec they're trying to show how to do it, but in realtime, they can do this fast enough. One of those well-known makeup artist is Lisa Eldridge, she also does makeup for hollywood stars. You can check her out if you do not believe me.

This makeup artist is so gentle. It like the model is her canvas.

I love how they don't totally erase the eyebags but make them look more natural instead

Actually those are not really eyebags but rather baby fat (that's what it is called) under the eyes, some are born with it and some use make up or injections to create an artificial one ^^ it makes you look more youthful and brighter.

Instead of adding a greyish-brown eyeshadow to make the puppy eyes, she didn’t put much of coverage so the natural shadow shows up

Double dipping makes the mascara dry up faster, because it’s increasing the amount of oxygen exposure to the mascara :)

Yess! I feel as if western makeup artist use a lot of foundation and layers. It just makes the face look cakey and unnatural. Korean and asian are more focused on natural looks, occasionally adding more. They want to bring out your natural beauty.

It is truly a No Make Up - Make Up Look, love it so much. Technique is everything.

Appreciate the model, unflinching despite her eyes watering. Mascara is the one product I find is made to be difficult - the consistency is like chalk powder mixed into a cream - it always clumps. I'd actually like to see how this is done on a male model though, if you'd consider it?

I need to learn her skill to curl the lashes, gosh what a difference!

That mascara application was so light, feathery, and beautiful!

I love asian makeup much more than western it looks more natural and youthful😍 (sometimes to me when I saw makeup gurus on youtube they look like clowns with 10 layers of makeup😓)
