    In New Delhi it is unlivable with this extreme heat...school and office closures, people getting heat stroke, hospitals overflowing it looks like hell

    Northeast India - we got the rains yesterday after the intense hot temperatures for about a month .. with an immediate 10degress drop in temperature within 5-6 hours.

    Again, it is the poor who will suffer the most... I really feel for the poor in this world. Their poorly built homes can't shield them from the heat. They can't afford air conditioners either because of no electricity or just affordability. I feel for them.

    They didn't complain several hundred years ago when it was warmer. Crop yields went up, population vastly increased. Now we have technology to cope with extreme climates and better equipped for natural disasters. What are people actually fearing then?
