This is my most favorite dnb song. It makes you think, it makes you move. When girls ask me what’s my favorite type of music I tell them drum n bass, they all ask me what is that or look at me weird. But I don’t care about people. I am an original dnb listener since the golden era of dnb, back in 1997/1998 was when I first heard the sounds as a teen 15 years old. And for some reason I was never into any other main stream music. I never even listened to radio, all I ever listened was my comfort, my love and the only thing that ever stood beside me through my most down times in life… drum n bass ❤️ I hold this genre dear to my heart, and I am 41 now. And till I die I will still listen to dnb, I ask to play this specific song at my funeral ceremony. DNB forever 🔊

This is in no way 'Amen' drums-this is light, atmospheric, intelligent drum'n'bass. If you wanna hear Amen drumz seek out: Souljah,Fade to Black on Hardleaders records or Dillinja,That Amen Track on Valve recordings as two prime examples(Both by Capone/Dillinja/Souljah, or Carl fttk, and also Lemon D)..I could teach a masterclass in this era!👌 All those that know 'bout this era will also know that the 'Amen' break came from The Winston Brothers on Metromedia Recordings #117(117,ring a bell?),a simple drum loop from the 'Amen Brother' tune that was speeded up and is no doubt one of the most sampled pieces of breakbeat music known to man,to this day. We all love them cycling drumz... big reach out to all the 93 to 97 jungle/d'n'b crew. For originalities seek out:Reinforced records #1233 Nasty Habits,As Nasty As I wanna Be,Here Come The Drums(yes-yes Doc Scott n Goldie for Reinforced records, pioneers of the greatest time in the breakbeat dance industry). I could go on but I need tha shut-eye.

Haha....my days! Way BITD I bought this for Streams Of Thought on the flip and hardly ever played this side....Infact I'd forgotten what this sounded like and played it just now on a whim....it's fucking wicked...better than SoT....and I've already got it (it's like having a new tune in the collection)! How many other flipsides did I unfairly overlook? Ain't played my wax for years!

Had the same happen so many times. I reckon if I went through all of my ignored b sides I'd probably find half of the tunes I've spent twenty years looking for.
