I have one I received as a gift, and I will return it. The French translations are really bad for the Canadian French. I now use Microsoft Translator and it does a much better job, it's free, and I don't need a separate device.

ha! mine came without charger or instructions but I managed to scan your app code from the youtube video and successfully download the app..otherwise Id have been nowhere..except contacting the seller on ebay LOL..yeh! came in box but no scan code, instructions, or even brand name..so many many thanks for that inadvertent scan code reveal

I am looking for a device that translates a language from one device to multiple languages on multiple devices. Most of these seem to be between 2 devices. I’m looking to communicate with a small group of people (with 3-4 languages) at the same time. Any suggestions?

Mon téléphone (smartphone) avec l'application Google translate fait pareil! Donc à quoi bon? Et j'ai pas besoin d'avoir le bluetooth activé, ni d'avoir un appareil supplémentaire qui consomme de la batterie. En gros, c'est un micro, un haut-parleur, une carte Bluetooth, une batterie, qui communique avec sont smartphones. J'appel ça du déchet inutile! Enfin, c'est mon propre avis personnel. Peut-être que le traducteur pourra vous traduire mon commentaire, enfin Google translate le fait lui ;-)

hello, I also have the same gadget but it does not seem to work with my iphone. It pairs but that is about it. I have also gone through all the settings recommended but still, when I translate something it does not pick up the words. Did you experience this problem too?

My device is connected but once the translator device shows up on the screen I'm stuck. It doesn't open any language options. What am I doing wrong??

Loved the video it will help me to k ow how it works. Just received mine and was charging it prior to setup. At some point my user guide came up missing and my 2 grand kids and husband claims they didn’t see it or move it from where I placed it. Also, when I scan the article code, it doesn’t work. Nothing ! I tried 3 different scanner Apps and no such luck. Is there another way to download the App or a work around? The device is useless without it. Thanks for your help.

Very helpful. I tried the written directions, but they were way too confusing. Your video helped me nearly instantly (along with a little Google search for one item)

There is mistake in french , that wrong when u asked : pls tell me the way to the airport . And the translation process was bad at this moment and no french would understand that .

My husband and I tested this device as well. The English to French Canadian was not bad but from French Canadian to English was totally pathetic! We will be returning this device.

@@niran7783 J'ai testé Microsoft Translator. C'est gratuit sur Google Play et les traductions sont bien meilleures! De plus, vous n'avez besoin d'aucun autre appareil que votre téléphone intelligent!

It is a pity there is no screen. In Vasco's translators you can read what the other person is translating.

There is a mistake for the french translate :/ In french, the voice said "s'il vous plaît, me dire de briser l'aéroport" seems : "please, tell me to break the airpot" xD ... i'll keep my phone for the next traductions :/

It's a bluetooth microphone and speaker that requires a phone to connect to the app and internet. The translation is only as good as the app; i.e. Google Translate. It is overpriced considering the capabilities and limitations. Just use your phone!

Downloaded the app but it just goes to bluetooth find device and nothing more no screen to select languages and for either button so useless for international translation as you unable to select the required language needed for countries that you are in, as all you keep getting is FIND DEVICE and there is no support service

U need to check it even more practical ...Coz while there was a conversation with other they won't speak this slow with each and every words ....

Remember ladies and gentlemen, this is an indian person speaking english, with an indian accuent to translate english into french. You open the camera on your phone, and focus on the Qcode black and white square. Tap the webpage that appears beneath the Qcode on your phone and it offers you the option of downloading the software app on your phone. It asks for a lot of permissions and also you must go into "Settings/General Management/Trust" or some other option to allow or activate this translator app. If the app on your phone is still not finding the translator device, go into "Settings/Connections" and look for the device in "Bluetooth" and other connection settings and make sure "Phone Visibility" is turned on. Also go into "More Connection Settings" and make sure "Nearby Device Scanning" is also turned on. Any problems keep looking. Remember throw one stone you'll miss, throw a handful and you'll hit something. Try more that once and you'll increase your chances of finding a solution. I don't know what he's talking about regarding the translator speaker volume, my neighbour was trying to sleep when I was testing it in my back yard and she screamed "trying to doze here, any chance?". Could be he's making some sort of commission and has to make the review sound balanced ergo saying something negative. If you are trying to follow the instructions that come with the translator, use a powerful light, the writing is tiny, maybe even get a magnifying glass. Take it easy my friends and good luck. ♥

the universal translator machine would have to translate all human livings languages! about 7.000 languages now on earth differents kind of branches . there is no better way than a human person serves a translator cause he can bring it out emotions feelings and share many things that the machine can´t do! if a person had really interest on speak a language probably in his/her entire life would speak more than 15 languages for a normal IQ .

It looks like it's just a portable bluetooth microphone that uses the google voice translator app on your cell. Not worth $50 for a microphone. Just use your cellphone's mic.
