Final year project, SKEM4824 - 01, 2020/2021 - 2.
A prototype made for proposed solution in oil recovering method.:
- Disc-type oil skimmer made out from aluminum type metal for the prototype. Controlled the skimmer using 6V DC motor.
- The skimmer installed onto a boat made from pvc pipe with low density for high buoyancy force. The boat moved with high torque 12V DC motor connected to motor driver and NodeMCU as the microcontroller.
- The boat designed with ESP32-Camera for live-stream view through public web browser. The ESP32-Cam is connected to a program called Ngrok that provide a tunnel for the localhost server to be in public server that can be accessed through IoT.
- The system used Blynk mobile application for the controller. User maneuver the boat and control the speed of oil skimmer using virtual joystick and analog output in the Blynk application.
