#insulin #physiology #glucose #anatomyandphysiology #nursingstudent #emtstudent
This is the story of the endless battle between insulin and glucagon, and how the pancreas constantly works for all of us behind the scenes to maintain blood glucose homeostasis. It may seem confusing at first, but not to worry -- I'll make it EASY, Penguin Prof style!
Note: the effects of insulin and glucagon on body tissues are extensive -- this is only an introduction!

Well, as you know, teaching is as much of a science as it is an art. My teaching mentor taught me that there is not a "best way" to teach, only "your way." I've spent the last 28 years working on "my way" and I still feel like I'm just getting started! I do wish you the best on your journey!

I wish I had some magic penguin fairy dust to sprinkle on everything, but it takes time and work to figure out what will work best for your students. Nine-tenths of education is encouragement. --Anatole Franc
