Thank you for putting these videos together, I'm very new to Lacanian thought, but this channel has been a rewarding rabbit hole to explore. As someone who isn't familiar with this tradition, could Instrumental Convergence be similar to what the cognitive scientist and philosopher John Vervaeke calls Relevance Realization?

There I was balls deep in a great article from the institute for the psychoanalytic study of architecture, and whose name do I see. Another great video presentation by the way. I’m hooked.

where are you on critical theory, specifically Deleuze and Guattari assuming i know a tiny bit about lacan and zizek already (mark fisher also).

I try to limit myself to thinkers I can read thoroughly. I respect Deleuze very much but do not have the energy or time to include him along with Lacan and a few secondary writers. Life is short! My first writer, that I know in some detail, was Giambattista Vico. Lacan is the second. It's all I can do to handle two geniuses. I don't deny that there are others.

@boundarylanguage so lacan was some word zizek said for...some years via Michael Brooks RIP and dr Ben Burgis . Then I jumped in the deep end with cap n schiz I n II and sublime object of ideology; most relatably Marx n the symptom. So skimmed E Roudinesco's bio. I'm precisely interested in the autistic foreclosure of the big other. Thx 😊
