For our patients who have been instructed to administer Decapeptyl through injection by our specialised fertility consultants’, our dedicated clinical team has developed this instructional video to help you prepare your Decapeptyl injection correctly.
Please follow the video carefully, and for further assistance, we have listed each step below so you can prepare your injection at your own pace.
Step 1
Before you begin, wash your hands and ensure your surface is clean and dry.
Step 2
Remove the syringe from the packaging and attach it to the large drawing-up needle.
Step 3
Next, identify the saline ampule and gently flick the air bubbles from the lid.
Step 4
Cover the red dot with your thumb and break the ampule.
Step 5
Draw all the saline into the syringe.
Step 6
Next, remove the lid from the powder ampule.
Step 7
Inject all the saline into the powder ampule and keep your thumb pressured until dissolved.
Step 8
Once removing your thumb, make sure all the solution is drawn up.
Step 9
Then, attach the small needle to the syringe and flick out any air bubbles.
Step 10
Gentle press until a teardrop appears at the tip of the needle.
Note: Please be sure to throw any shapes into the bin provided to you.
