Yeah, it is really a different type of photography. Instax is for nostalgia and feel. Iphone is for sterile precise pictures.

@@matejphoto For me taking instant photos is really, literally capturing the moment. Those photons physically hitting the paper, and making a unique piece of art. An instant photo cannot be copied or altered, thus it's even more real than a photo developed from a film negative. iPhone photos are just a digital representation of the actual moment, a string of code. There's no actual atoms of the photographed object.

in our family, we have an instax mini (9?) and an instax wide (201?) and they've been great over the years, but for the last few years they've pretty much been replaced by instax printers; we have the square and the wide and they take up less space and let us easily print from our cameras or phones. they retain all the nostalgia and instant physical results while granting much, much more latitude in terms of exposure, composition, and general edits.

That´s it I will buy a printer instead. I want to have the photo in my hands but I am no sure I can afford to practice with the price of those catridges.

The Instax Mini 12 is $10 off at Walmart and was able to get, it was 79.98. Got it for 69.98 plus tax and free shipping my total was 75.81.

Fun fact: if you want to take a normal shot after using selfie mode, hold the thickest barrel of the camera and push the top in, make sure the thick barrel doesn’t move and there you have it, normal mode.

I would like to know your opinion on the difference between the INSTAX mini 9 and the 12. It seems to me that if a picture turns out overexposed or underexposed on the 9 you have the option to override the suggested setting and set aperture to your liking whereas the 12 doesn’t give you that choice. What is your opinion on this matter?

Hi, I wanted to buy the Instax Mini 11. I wanted to know if I put new film in this camera and only take 3 to 4 pictures, and if I don't use the camera for the next 3 to 4 months, what will happen to the remaining film left in the camera? Can the film go bad, or can I still take pictures with the remaining film?

you can still use it. Just store it in a dark, dry, cool place as a safety measure

my instax 12 is not turning on, I thought it could be the batteries, but I tested the batteries in the instax 11 and it turned on normally. then I saw that it was not the batteries. 12 is not turning on the light. what will be her problem? I even made a shorts on youtube about her not calling Brazil here.

which better instax mini 11 or 12 ? and do you mind to explain the adentage each of them?

I feel like the colors on the 11 look more natural than the 12?

On my opinion the mini 12 take Great photo with Things like my white cat. After seeing a few video I realized That the Mini 11 The White Object like the white bear is abit too bright. Mini 12 may be for you!

I wish this is how phone companies release their new models.. it's not necessary to release them every year, work on what could be improved

That's not how that really works. New phones aren't released every year so that you buy the newest one every year, it's for people who upgrade their phones after using it for a couple of years. Imagine you use an iPhone and it breaks and they only release the new one every 3 years. What if you're in the second year of when they release them? You need a phone now, so you would need to buy a two year old phone.

Which is better to use? Kodak camera or Instax Mini 11 or mini 12?

Its possible. But in reality these cameras dont get used that much so probably not a huge concern. I think few people take more than 300 shots in the lifetime of the camera.
