Another recipe mentions 3/4 cup of jaggery for 1 cup of wheat flour and addition of a teaspoon of sugar. Can 1/2 teaspoon sukku be also added? Harih 🕉.

My appam turned hard. I added baking soda during mixing of batter itself. Will that be the reason?

While we prepare the flours, the jaggery water which we prepared already would have become warm. We can add it when its warm
