Same way the people in the other clip were scared of an aggressive dog sound, even though they obviously live in a culture where dogs as pets are common and expected. Like I used to ride horses as a child but shove a horse mouth aggressively yapping into a tiny confined space with me and I'd be scared, too. It's all about the context.

@@savannah6329 She’s not working at Dairy Queen but another place in the video. She said she used to work at Dairy Queen as her previous job, as an explanation for why she flipped the drink. Dairy Queen is a fast food place known for their blizzards which are thick milkshakes and the store’s well known shtick is that their shakes are so thick like ice cream that you can flip them over (without a lid on) and they won’t move. Similar to how chick-fil-a has all of their employees say “my pleasure” and Moe’s makes their employees say “Welcome to Moes!” Dairy Queen requires that their employees always flip the Blizzard milkshake upside down in front of the customer in order to show just how thick it is. It honestly becomes a force of habit and after doing the cup flip hundreds of times at your job each day, you just begin to do it mindlessly without even thinking about it. So she probably just went on autopilot for a moment and since she was handing the customer a cup, due to muscle memory from previously working at Dairy Queen, she just went and turned it upside down right before handing it to him despite the fact that it was a soda drink that would spill everywhere 😂

I was stuck laughing at the 1st clip lol I found it hilarious how the guy just says "oh no" as if it was an accident
