no grounding? You supposed to ground the cables running alongside the wall, before terminating it to your satellite receiver.

would a new installation (an air heat pump system) installed near the satellite , interfere with the satellite signal ? hubby seems to think so ?

No, satellite is from space. It doesn’t get any interference at all. The only problems could be that your dish isn’t aligned correctly or the skew of your LNB is not correct (for the satellite channels you are wishing to view).

Im going to be attempting to move ours tomorrow. Disconnecting from the dish for sky. Do i need to isolate any power etc?

Hi there, either turn off the power to the sky box or undo from sky box first. This way you cant go wrong. regards Dean

Hi there, thanks for the question. Both tools are excellent. Magnussion wire strippers, Screwfix 5175V £15. Presch cable cutters came from Amazon and were £11, should be able to find them typing Presch, hope this helps, regards

I would recommend a Televes Cable Stripper. It’s what the trade use and I found it to be superb.

Hi I was wondering if you could help me. I replaced rusty f connectors on coaxial cables running from the satellite quad lnb. Now I have a strange problem I can't figure out I put all everything back as it was before I touched it but now one of the rooms loses the connection when a satellite box is turned off in the other rooms and it only works if a box is turned on in another room Thanks

Hi there, sorry you are having issues. This sounds like a very strange one. I have 2 cables going direct to my TV. Another 2 cables going to a freeview box. Both these items are not linked in any way and both work as intended. It almost sounds like a cable earthing issue. I would double check the connections on all cables first. Sorry I havent been much help. Regards

I have 2 Freesat boxes does it matter in which order I connect wires to lnb?

Hi there, from my understanding it does not matter. On my cable there were two wires per cable so it made sense to keep these together if you know what I mean. Regards
