Your stripes look fine. When I wrecked my Challenger, 2 RT stripes needed replaced and it was over $500. You did good Sky.

Thank you so much for posting this bro. I was debating if I should pay someone shop to install on my charger or just give it a shot myself. I'm definitely going to just try installing them myself even if I mess up and have to do it multiple times. Also I was going to go for the matte black but that carbon fiber is the shit, I am definitely going to find and use those, my charger is white.

I got the carbon fibers in today from Vivvid and the vinyl was a tad hard to work mainly because it's my first time but everything seems good and symmetrical.

Draw the arrows pointing to the FRONT of the car on the backings so you don't get mixed up when you start cutting it

Take your time and use the wet method, do it in the shade or in a garage. I also used a laser for alignment and marked with a pencil

First off, amazing job and this is the site I was thinking about purchasing my Stripes from! What did you clean the car with prior to adding the Stripes and did you purchase their installing kits or just bought your own?

yeah, prepped the car with Alcohol and I did purchase the kit but only used it for the roof. Should have used it everywhere. Had to cut out around the shark fin area, not much fun as I had a problem with the Knifeless tape. DO MAKE SURE you get knifeless tape you will need it everywhere.

2 piece, I looked at a friends at a car meet on how it was done, it overlaps an inch or two

Wouldn't using a laser and frog tape to outline give you a boundary position to work within lining up the stripes?

I had a laser but was not bright enough I used painters tape lined it all up right but when I peel the backing off it came off from the top side as well.

where did you purchase your stripe kit from? The reason I ask is I'm going stripe mine also but I like the pinstripe and the wide stripe on one sheet.

well i just tried ordering the stripe kit on my car, first they sent the wrong ones and now cant get anyone to answer back any emails. There is no number listed to call so right now i am stuck with the wrong decals and no clear answer on when anyone is going to send the right ones.

What louvers. Everywhere I look I can’t find ones similar to those and are they abs or aluminum

I think I bought these from Amazon for a $105. These are the cheapest louvers I've ever seen. They were very thin and wonky. But when I put them on they seem to have less vibration than the E&G. Have a bit of a lower profile. I cannot recommend them but they seem to be OK and priced accordingly.

I like these seats , where you get them ?

They sent me Vivid XPO. I got the Carbon Fiber Matt and they look great but was wanting them to be wider with a larger center gap, not sure if they changed it. They are thicker than the ones I put on my other challenger making them easier to apply and reposition. The price can't be beat. They are responsive to emails and will sell sections if you mess up on one. I get a lot of compliments on them, I have seen better, but you can't beat the price. The graphics I was sent was Vivid. My main concern is something I read saying they should not remain on your car for more than a few years but I think that is with all of them.

Where u get those seat covers from?

I ordered carbon fiber glossy for single vent hood. The dimensions are messed up. I tried to contact their customer service but literally they never reply. Horrible. Don't risk

The wrap needs to be pushed all the way up into the hood scoop. The way that it's done, it looks incomplete.

Factory stripes cost a $1000 the quotes I got were 600 to 800 just for stripes not even a full wrap. Believe me I tried I wanted somebody else to do it. Is around here everyone was gouing. I only paid 45K for my car it's in one of the videos.

@@Sky1 you gotta go to a sign shop or tint shop not like a commercial type place or call anywhere that does similar type work it should not be that expensive window tint is like 150 this is twice as easy and way less time especially if you provide the vinyl..and you honestly were probably so anxious to do it that you didn't prepare good enough because if you measure properly and use tape as your marks and use knife less tape underneath all you do is pull the knifless tape off and it does it for you as long as you lined everything up properly

​@@Itsxthebk14to Sky1's credit, it does cost about $1000 bucks to get stripes installed professionally. That's the going rate these days. Whether your providing the stripes or not. Now if want a small tint shop who doesn't have great experience with doing stripes, they may only charge u 300 to 600. Ur points are valid. But you know you can't just have anyone put ur stripes on. Stripes from stripesource were on $179. For that, I'd rather do it myself than pay $1000 or pay to have an inexperienced person do it.

@@mymanhemi3610 that makes no sense you'd rather do it free by yourself and mess it up waste the 200 you paid for the stripes you have a 50k car but won't spend 1000 bucks which is not a lot of money at all to have it professionally done you'd rather try it yourself and fck it up, anything with cars is not cheap why even get a nice car if your gonna be a cheap ass about it
