Hey yo I wouldn’t buy these quite yet. JBL has a new series that’s the club series that I installed into my 93 Bronco Eddie Bauer. They are an extremely good deal and leaves loads of room for upgrades later on like an new head unit or solid amp and it’s doing great so far. Had them for about a month now. They are doing great and the Club series also has the rear speakers which sound amazing compared to the original speakers. Hope y’all have a great day!

What model did you get? I just ordered 620f. I’m replacing Kenwood 1665s which I believe are blown. They rattle sometimes and sound tinny

I found some at the swapmeet in Los Angeles and installed them. They sound clean in my 2017 Nissan Sentra

Does it what what side goes to what when soldiring is it a negative positive type deal?

Do you know if the negative and postive lined up with the new speaker to the old connector

Just resolder the plug from the old speaker and everything is plug and play.

@@5StarGarage yeah but rob meant how do you know that you attached the adapter from the old speaker in the same orientation as the old speaker. If you would’ve flipped the connection when bending/soldering, it wouldn’t have worked. But I guess that you did it all right because they obviously do work.

@@prestontreadway5536 The speaker would be 180 out or in phase. It would still work, but the bass would try to pull and not push for example. I appreciate all of the fine details and involved work at trying to keep the stock plug, though it may nave been easier to just crimp some new connections. But you have to work with what you have so... Good Work!i!i!

Lmao I just installed one side cause started to snow here lol gotta wait for the lf tomorrow lol but did tested and sound really good

Do 6 1/2 speaker fit in original 6in holes? I measured mine and they were 6in so didn't know if 6 1/2 would fit in original holes. Don't want to have to drill into door.

@@5StarGarage hey man I found your video trying to do research on a speaker swap I'm doing in my 1996 F800 crew cab does your back doors have speakers ? My f800 came without a radio but 2 front door speakers and I'm trying to decide what to do in the back

I dont think the back doors do. I think they are behind the seat.

What is the third terminal? I connected these to my truck and noticed there is positive and negative, but also a third contact spot in the middle..?

Not sure on the middle one. I just used the outer ones were the included clips would go.

yes but now it doesn't seem loud. I might have got use to them. Also someone stole my cat from the truck so exhaust is super loud so that doesn't help.
