Valeu meninos o meu muito obrigado, show, nota 100

    I really need to know what type of metal pole you are using here for bracing. I’ve searched high and low and can’t find anything. I think this is a better solution than a wooden bracing pole. Any information on this would be extremely helpful. Already bought my cattleman pro and drill chuck for the job, but need my bracing poles to start. Thank you!

    @clifford6119 thanks for sharing the info. Prepping to run a new fence for my very first time and I was wondering. How is it fastened to the wood post? Pure tension? Are the posts bored an inch or so to hold the post? Thank you sir.

    I could be wrong but it looks like a 4 point and your listing at the end says its a 2 point. Which one is it? is this a class 3 wire? How come Tractor Supply sells it but no stores carry it in stock anywhere in Texas?

  • @BekaertFencing

    Whoops, looks like you are right! We did indeed install 4 pt and the wire had a Class 3 coating (or blue labels). Our Cattleman Pro barbed wire products are sold all over Texas. SASCO sells it through their network, both Cattleman Pro and StaTite50. If you need us to find a dealer for you let us know.

    What’s the difference between 18 gauze and 15.5 gauze barbed wire?

  • @BekaertFencing

    @BekaertFencing

    2 жыл бұрын

    I believe you are referring to gauge. 15.5 gauge barbed wire is going to be stronger than 18 gauge barbed wire. Our 18 gauge barbed wire is intended to be used as a temporary solution.

    My thumb feels a lot better just looking at the stapler. But Lord, it's expense. Perhaps Milwaukee makes one that I can use all of my M18 batteries with?

    Yes, you're right the price point is more for someone who is installing fence a majority of the time.

  • @HTSS8
    @HTSS8 Жыл бұрын

    14g not the 15.5g? Tractor Supply makes good pricing for the 15.5, suggesting the higher demand and volume of purchasing by their customer base makes them have buying power and pass on to customers.

    Why do you not show installing all 4 other wires. How do you get the next 4 strands on the non pressure side of the braces.

  • @BekaertFencing

    @BekaertFencing

    2 жыл бұрын

    The process to install each wire is the same as the first wire shows. You'll want to keep you wire on the pressure side as Keith notes around minute 2:20. Because we are going around a curve we altered the pressure side to the non-pressure side. For straight runs you would keep it all on the pressure side.

    I was wondering that also . Do take the roll of wire off the 4 wheeler and go underneath the top wire to change sides of the post ? I would have also liked to see the wire stays that you use between posts .

    I'd like to talk to a Bekaert rep. I installed several miles of gaucho wire in snow country. Worst fencing decision I've ever made. Every spring the wire has tons of breaks in it and where it isn't broken it's loose. Is the cattlemen pro any better? I've switched to hi-tensile smooth wire and it seems to be working great.

    Using cheap ass Chinese wire strainers WILL hurt you one day. Use hi quality ones. Buy once, cry once. You should be running your wires bottom to top. Firstly to allow for take up on your braces and secondly, it’s easier to run your remaining wires
