On the side walls the small additional foam pieces should be at floor level. That way heat loss from the seam is less and easier to install. Instead of being on a ladder.

I read the foil part goes in the inside to act as a element for heater and AC like conductor. ?

Great cost savings. Looks good. Can you update on how the temperature inside is

Trick with the foil tape if you get hvac all weather tape it will stick much better and if you put a strip of duct tape first it will even stick better . Or just silicone in between the joints

I just purchased a 30x30 garage from big building direct and I was researching on insulating it and came across your video, I’ve seen guys put furring strips up and using adhesive and double sided tape and all kinds of things I would have to say I love the way you are doing this with pressure fitting. It’s clean and the table saw is giving you a nice square cut and I will be doing the same thing! Thank you for this video. You wouldn’t have to have an updated video on how your garage feels after install would you?

where did you buy the foam? Home Depot wants $35 a sheet and goes down to $30.56 a sheet when you buy 10 or more where I live

Why not hang the foamboard between the frame and siding....?

If you put the silver side showing the metal tape will stick.

Your method of strapping for the ceiling panels was probably easier than mine. I got rolls of the metal pipe hanger strapping for plumbing and ran long runs, front to back.

I really wish I could go with a regular garage door like yours. I need the roll up door if I want to install a lift. Otherwise I can't open the door when my truck is on the lift.

I would have laid them flat on a clean floor so they don't get any memory bends in them from leaning against a wall

We are getting ready to build a 26x40x10 steel building. What dimension size did you go with for footer and small support wall? Finished project looks really nice.

Did you seal the gaps at the corners and roof eaves? How about above the roll-up garage door?

Make sure you allow an air gap between the foam board and the exterior walls.

I would hook my shop vac to the dust port on the table saw to control the mess.

Thanks for making this video! I decided to go with foam board as well for my 24x31 metal building. I wasn't sure how to go about installing it in the ceiling. Do you think the way you did it provides enough air gap?
