Installing EAW mods

Mod path description: This goes in the "Target" area of the short cuts properties followed by the mods name:
"C:\GOG Games\Star Wars - Empire At War Gold\EAWX\swfoc.exe" force-d3d11 MODPATH=Mods/ MOD NAME GOES HERE
The "C:" directory portion depends on where you have the game actually installed (which drive and such)
Link to EAW Mod Launcher that I use:

Just place the exe file in your games directory. Place it in the same folder that EAWX (or corruption for disk users) is in.

What if the shortcut says steam can i still change the target and start in to the same folder?

Yeah ik I am having the same problem. I think it's because I have downloaded pirated version of the game.. I installed the remake mod and it kept crashing.. If you know a way of fixing this pls tell me
I have the gog version of empire at war gold and I'm trying to get clone wars mod to work and I also have the empire at war mod launcher, cant get the mod to work

Uh If you havent solved this already, I HIGHLY recommend just getting the steam version friend, it has updates that makes a lot of mods more stable, the gog version hasnt received support in years sadly. Steam is the best way to go about it
oh so i can't do the mods since I have the original empire at war?

If you haven't solved this already, yes! Basically every mod in the world for EAW is only on Forces of corruption because it has a lot more stability and functions than the old game
I have a cracked version it dont work and i dont wana spend money

Honestly should just cave and get the steam version, it has the updates that allow modern mods to run functionally. Most mods dont support any non steam versions unfortunately.
