What’s the plate that you have under the deck? Is it fiberglass? Is that something that you added?

Looks like a backing plate to spread the load on the fiberglass. Some people use metal plates, but the best idea I’ve heard is to use Starboard (or use a piece of plastic cutting board). Without the backing plate, you might get some stress cracking around the nuts. But the way my boat was manufactured, none of the nuts in the cabin for the stanchions or Genoa tracks have backing plates.
