What a helpful video, I really liked the "I don't know what I'm doing" warning - I also don't know what I'm doing, so I appreciate you taking the learning hits for me instead of assuming I'd get everything right the first time. Thanks!

I want to thank you, as the instructions for this thing were very non specific. (Likely to avoid getting sued if someone messes up.) Between you and 2 other videos I was able to better pallet what I was doing.

It is actually only $149 per rack for install in the Seattle area. The price quoted it for the rack and install provided by Safe Racks.

Thank you for the details video. I was not sure if I can do it myself or not but now i'm definity going to give a try. My only concern is can I install the overhead storage under the i-joists which are in my garage? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, so I'd recommend you check out the instructions first to make sure it's safe and possible to mount them where/how you're planning to (usually, you can view them right from the Costco website). Thanks for your video. Wish I had seen your instructions on setting up this earlier. We had someone hired for fixing this and looks like they did a wrong job. I see vertical posts not fixed in between the lag screws that’s on the ceiling. He fixed the posts on the very edge of that horizontal ceiling. I got to know that only after he left! I wanted to know is that still okay to use the rack? I see the the caution msg in your video, that’s really concerning me :(

Trying to set these up myself. My joists run the same as yours and im trying to figure iut if i xan get longer brakets so i can run the rack length wise instead of width, otherwise like you mounting it against the beam widthwise

Did you have any issues hammering down the 8’ sides all the way down key hole ? Mine aren’t seating all the way and I’m wailing on them. And tips ? Do they just not go all the way? I already made sure everything was at 90 degrees and level

I don't think all of mine seated 100% perfectly. They are supposed to and should seat all the way in, but I don't think I could get all of mine to do so. Be sure to sub for more, and thanks for your support! 😄
