Following on from your video I contacted sol and had apple Car play and map updates done today. this is a fantastic upgrade done, Really pleased sol is a gent and really knows his stuff. I can’t recommend him enough!!

Great vid as ever and many thanks as met Sul today what a great guy and had my nav updated to 2023 maps plus loads of of extras, main one being an AWD update that gives about a 15% drive to rear wheel all the time, made the car feel more planted and can’t wait to try on the track with new 034 Sport front adjustable (camber and caster) top mounts at Snetterton 26 Feb

Hey, thanks for the great video. I'm about to get a TT Mk3 next summer and these kinds of simple modifications are very interesting. I would just need to find a place to get these kinds of mods in Finland 😄 I have a few questions. 1) Do you know if CarPlay and Android Auto are separate "accessories", or do they come with Audi Smartphone interface? At least my friend's Audi A4 '15 has the smartphone interface and with it there's Android Auto. 2) what is your opinion on Stage 1 tuning for the TT? 300hp /440Nm sounds attractive.

Cheers pal. I can imagine it being hard to find mods/technicians in Finland. So answers to your questions: 1) CarPlay and Android Auto are just coding add ons, this can be done without having to buy anything additional. 2) I am running a stage 1 remap from Quantum. It should be running around 300bhp/440nm. Hope that helps 😃

The 2015 was the first batch so they must have made significant upgrades to the later models

i saw the boos gauge does not work. it didnt fill the bar because you werent punching it or it doesnt work because the mod only has the center speedo and that's it?

In my mates 2017 it worked after the install but I may need to install something else do this to work on mine. Work in progress

Only on 2016 and newer. 2015 no.

I wouldn’t say a bargain but you do need to do the update with the installers specific hardware (which they’ve paid for and understandably want to recoup the cost) so you can understand it being a bit more expensive than the bog standard maps, smart phone etc updates which a lot of people can sort themselves or get it done for a reasonable cost

@@JohnDoe-uu2zs No it’s definitely not a bargain, if you have some spare change about and like the look then go for it. I really like the look of it and makes the journey a little more interesting. I don’t dabble myself with the dash, I pay Sol to do it as he’s not too far from me
