Honestly, it’s done a really good job. The fish seem to be very healthy and we haven’t had any die off. We’ve ran the aerator continuously for the last year and I’ve had no issues with the operation or the device. as far as algae goes, this pump is not going to do it all on its own, especially if you have vegetation and such making its way into your pond. But I would say, for the most part of the pond stays clear and free of algae.

It's been a year. How well has the aerator done at removing (and hopefully eliminating) the algae in your pond?

Hi! The aerator is still going strong. The pond has maintained little to no algae, and the fish appear to be happy with very little die off. We do some times add dye to the water when it’s really warm out, but there’s definitely been an improvement overall!
