Installing A Super Rare HKS Exhaust on Eric's Honda S2000
We love to reuse parts from our salvage auction cars within our own warehouse. Eric's Honda S2000 continues to do that. We purchased his car needing a motor almost a year ago. Put it back on the road and Eric has been upgrading it since. Now it is time to add a full exhaust!
This very rare HKS high power super light version came through the shop on a car we part out. Eric knew it was finally the exhaust that he wanted to put on his car. With an amazing sound and staggering weight savings, he could not have made a better choice!

That is seriously my kind of exhaust for an S2000... It sounds just so refined and "clean" as Dalt stated. It fits the character of the S2000 really well

I have the regular HKS Hi Power dual exhaust on my S2k and I love it, the resonator is magical. At 70mph on the highway, there's almost no exhaust noise.
Love this specific exhaust! Have the same exact one too for the weight and sound. Around 94-95 decibel around 3k rpm

Sounds great! Definitely needs the intake, got to get that late 90s early 2000s lowered/intake/full exhaust vibe going! Maybe one 12 in the back and an Alpine head unit just bring this to period correct flex status.

I maybe have outdated information, but when cold air intakes were first coming out for the S2000, companies like Spoon would claim that the intake does not increase power, but it smoothens the airflow and is designed to be more responsive. I haven't had a Honda in years, but these S2K motors are pretty tapped out in terms of power from the factory. Tl;Dr: pretty sure stock airbox is already optimal for power and changing the hose is mostly for cosmetics.

I saw that it sold. Unfortunately Eric wrecked his s2000 very shortly after we installed this. You will love it. By far the best sounding s2000 exhaust I have heard!

@@scraplifedalt oh no that’s awful. I originally had ordered one from evasive motorsports but they had told me it would be a 4+ month wait from Japan so I just had em cancel and checked eBay and there it was. Just gotta wait on new gaskets and it’ll be ready to go
