Cheers for this. Our son just turned 17 and it was between cbt or 1 litre corsa. We went with a Corsa D. We have change the head unit, added a back up camera and while we had the seats and trim out we went ahead and added sound deadening material under and behind everything to zero out the horrific road noise you get in these beautiful bangers at 60mph on Scottish roads. Again, cheers for the guide, legend. He shares your namesake- we have a laugh about that figuring 2 years later you will have most likely upgraded the same as he will when he is 20.

just to note for anyone if they feel their tail light connection at 5:00 is stiff to remove, it may be cause in the light. use youtube to take the rear light off and then the wire will be freer to remove, then continue!

Hi, love your video! I have the same car as you. Do you do installation of reversing cameras??

I need help to connect to the stereo I have a pink wire saying reverse in Brown wire saying brake in and a blue wire saying amp con which one do I connect the camera to?

Great video mate….. what is the cable your using for the power at the back? Is it the rear lights or the reversing light?

reverse.....the camera is supposed to turn on when you put the gear in reverse. If you use the rear lights - it isn't reverse - and that would be stupid.

My monitor keeps saying 'rear camera lost signal' anybody know what I did wrong?

Cameras tend not to beep, that's parking sensors that do that...

I think I have done something to mine and I have done a really bad job because it’s not working 😂

My dude you need to check the connections underneath your front seats; those may be triggering the passenger air bag light to blink on your centre console.

It’s because he changed his radio whilst connected to the battery, it throws a sensor tripping the air bag light, code just needs to be cleared then it won’t come back as long as radio stays in place

Auto pumpkin android and apple play model

Hello, I have a similar Android stereo but I can't figure out how to turn it off completely. Holding the power button a few seconds turns off the screen but I feel like the thing is still on. Any advice?

It sounds as if you have connected the head live to the car’s permanent live, rather than the accessory live

@@Redskinblack I'm pretty sure it's connected properly but the "engineers" decided it has to always stay on so that there are no starting times. I actually can't complain about my unit. It's pretty smart it "turns off" (screen goes off and I can't use it) when I remove the key, turns on when I put the key in, no turning needed, which I think is even better so I can have just the stereo on. It even recognizes when I put reverse and I don't have a camera connected. It reads it from the car. Btw I set 2 hours standby time and it seems to turns off completely after 2 hours, which is perfect for my use.

Does it not turn off completely when you switch off the car? If not you should be careful so that it doesn’t drain your battery

@@tahmidali6534 I assume it doesn't go completely off when I turn off the car (and remove the key) because when I put the key back in it turns on fast. It goes into sleep mode. Meanwhile after 2 hours of no use, it will have a long startup, meaning it was completely off.

You don’t actually have to but it’s just safer just Incase something did actually go wrong and at least that way if the battery isn’t Live then nothing can really go wrong but you should be fine with not disconnecting it hope this helps
