This is the solution I was searching for. I was having the problem of my Pioneer Z140 just seemed to little/much bass as my songs weren't equalized. So I was always chasing the right level through settings per song. This solves it. Ty JAB, liked and subscribed.

@@psementalist I know of the bass knob. Just because it's more expensive or made out of a better material, or has a volt meter lol doesn't make the way it works any different than an LCA-1. Same thing

@@brandonthompson9957 Brother I'm not arguing with you about that i got my Slam Panda bass knob just because i was upgrading everything else in my system rebuild up . Mine doesn't have a volt meter built into it i wanted something that was totally customized to my personal likeness in this case it was to match my car's name of Praisenator its blue and I love the great job they did on it . My volt meter happens to be stinger its worked great over 9 yrs

But I love the amp . The light on the amp and on the knob are cool . I just have to angle them in a way that the light is not shining where it draws the wrong attention.

Thats weird cause my power acoustik knob seems to turn the amp all the way off for me only problem I seem to have is from time to time it seems it'll like stick and nothings been spilled on it etc it will just get hard to turn every now and again

How to set a sub amp bass knob using the smd dd1

I have a quick question on this, sorry I am a bit of a beginner when it comes to this kind of stuff. So I want to install a bass knob in my car, which already has a sub and mono amp wired. Would I basically be unplugging the rca from the head unit to the amp, and wiring the knob "in between". So it will go from head unit, to the control knob, then back into the rca on the amp (where it is currently wired to?

Where did you get that. I want to get one for my skar lp1000. So i dont have to have my seat down to see the clip light. Usually only if I have other in the car is why. But I cant find it on amazon or even on the stinger site.

For the skar amps you'll have to extend the light directly from the amp since they dont have external clip lights

Ur damn head unit can cut the subwoofer off and it only takes 2 seconds lmao the bass knob does exactly what it needs to do

I did this in my truck for the epicenter knob. Just didn't make a video of the tutorial, I just have a video of the final outcome if you want to look at it

Sinister yes but not as fast. most people set gains accordinly and then use knobs to turn up and down with different songs or when you want to just turn it down slightly. It's much easier when driving to use a knob and you can get more fine control. also when you use the sub control settings in the headunit it messes with your signal levels. while all the way up on a knob is just 100% signal, while all the way up on the headunit is higher than 100% signal(clipping) there are exceptions to what i said but overall that's reason why. I hope this helps explain more
