    Would have been easier to simply put the box down and reverse the chain hooks, then the box would naturally spin the hole to face the machine...

    Nice job. As the home owner, I would've also added a siphon hydrant (purple in color) for the fire department as an auxiliary water source. Great stuff either way!

    here that not needed the volunteer fire department just pulls in sticks there 10 suction pipe in the pond and suck it out, they do have a 3 phase 550 volt pump house in the river a mile away from the station, that way they can get water on the way back in the winter when theres 4 feet plus of ice over the river. a 10" pipe is plumbed right into the bottom of the river, when they need water from our ponds or any of the many lakes and rivers all around. they drill a hole and drop a 8" steel L pipe in to hook on to

    Good morning Chris I find your videos are enjoyable to watch It's amazing how you take your time digging the hole for the pipe to sit in and then you refilling the hole back up again and redressing the ground with seed and straw after you have finished it looks amazing

    You have a great skill to handle all the detailed steps during the work and the results looking amazing. It’s really great to watch your videos! I was wondering if you could attach a rope from one corner of the cement overflow to the thumb and then spin the block a little by raising the thumb? When you were digging the ditch and piling up the dirt, I wondered if you ever finished up for the day only to find that parked your truck on the wrong side of the ditch? Thanks for the great videos!

    Yea Kirk, I’m from Pearl River, La.myself. And you’re right about the dirt it’s sticky as hell but when it dries out it packs hard as concrete but I work for a company that’s called Leon Lowe and sons. They’re based out of Pearl River Louisiana

    Even working alone you do an awesome job. That clay reminds me of the clay here in Oregon sticky when wet but dries harder then a rock. Would be cool if you could have hats made with your new logo on it.

    Nice work. Enjoy watching you handle your equipment so efficiently. As for his drain line that you capped, he should install a valve in the line eventually that way he can drain it anytime he needs without the bath.

    Could you do a few aerial after shot compilations of finish projects say 6 months later, when the grass etc has grown back and the ponds are filled? It would be a really good way to visualize what you are doing and why, and the end effect of all this hard work.

    A really good pond has some foot deep nesting areas for blue gill... And a little green stuff to grow. Green stuff will get ducks and stuff in to.

    One of the cleanest(least muddy) jobs I’ve seen. Couldn’t ask for better working conditions. As high as that bank is, it would make for a great backstop for shooting from the house or dock.

    When I was an electrician I did quite a few runway lighting projects. We had to encase our conduit in sand before back-filling and compact to soil to the FAAs satisfaction.

    I love that Yanmar. I don’t think we would get away without surrounding that pipe with Pea Gravel in England. But, I love the projects you do.

    well the pond wouldnt hold water if you backfilled the pipe in gravel lol it would be like a giant french drain and leak like hell
