Happy to see you still have this car, we have a 15 fsport obsidian/flaxen and it’s my grandparents. I’ve been the only person to detail it, and I work for lexus svc so it meticulously maintained. Only 37k miles in 8 years and people stop and ask us to buy it often. I’ve since purchased 2 more 2GR powered lexus a 21 Rx and 21 IS and can happily say Lexus V6 are the most reliable engines possibly ever made. This exhaust setup is perfection!

How do you feel about the current line up of lexus?? Do you think the NX350h is just as reliable? I would love to own a lexus v6 vehicle but gas is really expensive up here in Canada.

@@curseknight5 The NX350h will be just as reliable. Lexus builds a quality product that is made to last and my opinion on them hasn't changed.

I installed a Borla cat back system on my wife's Toyota Land Cruiser twenty years ago. I recall the job being as easy as yours was. Best vehicle we ever owned and my wife lover her Borla too!

Magna Flow mufflers are the perfect combination for the Lexus… throaty, sounds great and without the Borla expense. BUT Borlas are sweet of expense is not an issue.

The Borla exhaust I purchased is cheaper than Magna Flow. I paid less than a 1k for mine, but I see a similar Magna Flow for almost 1300. I must of got a deal? :)

Thanks for sharing! I like the GS--nice looking and probably gonna be very reliable 😁 Quick question if you don't mind--why did you need to replace the muffler when it has that small hole? Holes don't pass inspection? Near me, I see some cars riding with the muffler almost on the ground LOL

No problem! Our Lexus GS350 has been the most reliable car that we have ever owned (I did a video on this too). My wife is planning on driving it to 1/4 million miles if the car can make it. You must be new to the channel? The reason I say that is I am OCD about keeping the maintenance up on my cars. :) Even though I could have kept going on this exhaust, it would bug the heck out of me knowing that there is a small hole that is only going to get worse with time. I would rather replace it now before it gets worse even though in Michigan we don't have car inspections.

I haven't noticed a difference in MPG. It's the same.
