I do appreciate the modern technology on cars but backup cameras makes a person so scared to drive without it. Or even a dump driver for that matter. If it's installed on my new car at a no-cost option then I get it but if not forget it.

I completely agree. I used to drive without one, and I was fine for years. But now I'm so used to the reverse camera that I wouldn't drive comfortably without it

I was like this so scared 😅 but I started off by driving a manual car with no features on my car so I just use my eyes when reverse/parallel parking now I have a camera feature on my car don't even bother using it

Currently driving without one and super scared to park and drive.

150 dollars to install a 50 dollar camera. Ya that makes sense -_-

I mean, do it yourself then? It's a skill you don't have, so you're paying for the skill + labor time. It's not even that hard, it's as simple as tapping into a positive and negative existing wiring.

It doesn't need a skill, just a confidence.

I bet they will start to install a backup camera In the back of the head as soon as the babies are born. This is the direction the society is headed.
