Installing A-Arm new bushings [Garage Products] in the RZR 800S. No more clunking!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This project was far overdue. As you can see from the video, the factory bushings were completely gone, and the A-Arms were clunking and had quite a bit of movement back and forth. This would allow the machine to wander during acceleration and braking, not to mention the loud clunking and very loose steering.
We put Garage Products bushings on all of our machines. They are of the highest quality, and if installed properly, should last for the entire life of the machine. If you do have one wear out, they are covered by a LIFETIME warranty!
This project is kind-of a pain to do, so get the good bushings and only do it once. Factory or cheap knock-off brand bushings are going to wear out again.
We really appreciate our viewers. If you feel that we have earned it, we would love a thumbs up! Thank you for watching!

Very helpful, thank you so much! I was going to take it to a dealership but it’s not as bad as I thought!

On the lower bolt I believe if you loosen the nut pushing the bolt forward tipping the rear of the arm down the arm will slide off the bolt.

Great pointer! Of course, ours was too seized to use this trick, but it could help someone in the future. Thanks for sharing!
Supposedly guaranteed. Getting mine replaced tomorrow

I've had to replace one on an older machine. I called them up and they replaced the bushing, no problem. Hopefully that is the case for you!
Did you have any other symptoms that you noticed before discovering that play in your control arm? I have a weird wobbly in the front end, not death wobble, but its making my tires seem like they’re off balance when I’m driving on the pavement.

The only symptom I had was a mild clunk in the front end. I replaced them early enough that I did not notice any handling changes. However, I very rarely drive on the road, and when I do, it's a very short distance. It is possible that I just didn't notice because of where I ride.
What lift are you using to pick up your machine?

That's the Dannmar MX6. LOVE IT! I have short ceilings so I couldn't do a traditional lift. I have more details on it here, back when I was relocating the pump. kzread.info/dash/bejne/n4eTqMSDY7jAmbw.html&ab_channel=3DayWeekend
Do you have the part number?

Quick question, is that the reason? When I turn my wheels left and right, they look like they are gonna break

Hello should i able to pry my rear diff up and down?
@3DayWeekend
2 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Pry? Yes, the diff will move slightly if you pry on it, as the mounts are all rubber, allowing for a little movement. The rear diff, transmission, and engine are all bolted together as one unit mounted on 3 motor mounts. One mount on each side of the engine/transmission, then the last one is in the rear at the rear differential. If it's very loose, you'll want to check your engine mounts.
