I have a few questions: - Will the same configuration be suitable for the setup in Sport variant - Don't you think this can void the warranty? Since these are LEDs with heat sinks maybe and those sinks are close to the wiring and switch, is it safe then?

It is a great video. Thanks for that. I too own a Ford Ecosport. I have a question here. Why can't you use the boot light (5w) inside the cabin ? They both go into T10 holder.

Update : brought both bulbs and found that it is hard to fit 5w LED in cabin. due to its long length it doesn't fits into the enclosure. So 5w bulb is best suited for boot and number plate

Two years on, are they still working or have they blown out?

It will put less strain on the battery. LEDs use less energy and make more light.
