Is it the same set up for the apple CarPlay

i have w221 s550 the japanese version, will the same device work properly? bcz i can see the multimedia system plugs are different

Installed this in my car abs everything working great but I cant fit the headunit back in. It's like there is not enough space to fit everything back in.

hi you can use carplay/andorid auto/mirring function while driving, no problem.

After the install, I ended up with a black screen that appeared not to be getting any power. The box was powered with one solid red light and the other blinking.

@@jakubluszczak2748 you have to take it to any mechanic shop that specializes in German cars and just ask them to activate aux via star diagnostics they charged me 100$ because they had to charge a hour minimum for labor work but I’m sure youlll find the same thing or something better

I dont have bluetooth sound on my radio ntg3.0 2007 s550 i have am and fm radio sound but no sound once i connect the phone. I cant find aux in my radio

hi,NTG3.0 2007 no bluetooth sound. however you can activate aux audio in repair store. must has aux option in Benz media menu if use carplay

most of car has aux function under media source. if there has no aux function, need to activa via computer

You need to find a third party Mercedes garage with MB DAS Diagnostic as no MB dealer would activate the aux in for you!

2006 should compatible with NTG3.0 system, carplay kit works for it
