Installation of the Kubota BH77 backhoe, sub-frame, and hydraulics.

I do a walk through Installation of the Kubota BH77 backhoe, sub-frame, and hydraulics on a L2501. Also a trick to relieve pressure in the hydraulic connections.

Great video, just bought the subframe yesterday, backhoe will come soon. I have a L3901 but looks identical to yours. It never came with instructions for installing the hydraulics but seeing yours I think I can figure it out. Thanks

What a fantastic summary! I too have a 2501 and am thinking of a backhoe. Not sure I can justify the cost as it is only for use around my 1.5 acre lot. Nonetheless, this video has convinced me that if I do pull the plug, installing it will be fairly simple.

I finally got My Hydraulic lines on and they are tucked away and NOT LEAKING anymore. The fittings that came with the Woods BH-75 had 45 degree fittings and the fittings and Hose stuck way out What a pain Spent $42 at a Hydraulic Supply store for about 7 fittings to get 90 degree fitting at the hydraulic block and adapters to connect to the hose supplied with the Backhoe, and they still were sticking downward too much. ( Wound Up not using 5 of those fittings I bought ) I did not throw that original hose away I reconnected it at the Block and routed it toward the backhoe and coupled it straight to the supplied hose Yes it is too long, but now My line leaves the block with original hose closer too the tractor The extra hose length was long enough for Me to make an upward loop then down too the mounting bracket location for the female Quick Connector Excess loop easily tie wrapped to the unused slot behind the 3 Point lever slot and finally NO MORE LEAKS My Woods BH-75 came mount too a metal frame that I am hoping to turn into a roll around platform Not so sure rolling this thing around a lot is a good idea because it is REALLY HEAVY It took Me a while to move it without wheels. I tried using My forks and they helped but it was really unstable and top heavy My Woods sub frame has the bottom frame locations pointing downward, not like Yours where You raise the backhoe up & then drop it into the sub frame cradle Maybe I'll finally get thing working soon I've had it 2 years already Thanks and Sorry for running on and on, but it has been aggravating Ken in Florida

The lower arms can stay on. Pull the side links and turnbuckles off, the upper link, the lowers can be bungee corded to the ROPS and out of the way. Way quicker and easier, I have a L2501 and a BH77.

I bought the L3301 last year and am thinking of putting the BH77 on it. You know, the loader can't do everything. The local dealer quoted $10,250 for the subframe, backhoe, seat, and hydraulics intstalled with warranty. Basically everything ready to dig.

I don't believe there's any aluminum in that rear end should be all cast iron. Reason why they recommend subframe mounted backhoes is because the 3-point back holes will tear the crap out of your tractor

at 11m38s, the stabilizer pads are down, and they stay down until you can raise them using the hydraulics. The earliest that can happen is 14m24s. Then you talk about the exhaust hanger pliers until the cut at 14m51s, after which the pads are up and you put the mounting pins back in. What happened in between? How on earth did you get the backhoe engaged with the bracket???

If you go to kubotausa.com you can look up your machine. Look in the parts look up page. Then it'll probably be in the local options section. It may also be under the BH77 backhoe option section. I don't recall which area it's in. That is basically the same look up source the kubota parts guys use at the dealership. Subframe kits were sometimes a pain to find.
