Instead of using cigarette lighter adapter, what about converting it to use a USB port?

Can’t wait for mine to be in today! Will complete the full install for me. Underglow with grill light, interior kit with the Display Module….. yeah I’m stoked since all I got left is the interior lights and module to add on today!

Just installed these in my 2020 Subaru Impreza and they look dope! Relatively easy to install. I didn't take any paneling off. Had to use a little ingenuity to install the back strips because of my car design. Only problem I had was with the expandable circuit. For some reason, my 10 amp fuses (which the instructions recommend) don't have the 2 metal prongs coming off of it so I can't put it in my adapter and it wouldn't go into an extra slot. So I ended up going with the cigarette lighter option and the wires look fine. Just a few ziptied wires coming out from my center console. The colors legitimately look like the pictures/videos. I was really impressed.

The only way to do that would be to connect the power wire to the dome light power wire. However, the kit would turn off when the dome light turns off.

Double check all of your wiring and connections. Your strips should not be heating up.

Got confused with the expandable circuit. Mine has two slots for fuse but it came without a fuse. When you say stock fuse, it meant the fuse I removed from the fuse box right, but the demo shows two fuses placed in the expandable circuit. Could you clarify. Thanks.

The expandable circuit should have come with 1 fuse. Then you place the factory fuse in the circuit also.

Run the wires thought the center console and then pass the wire under the seat rails. That will keep them from getting pinched.

SO i installed LED bulbs in my 98 Ford Ex. Everything was fine and no flicker. But when i started the car i heard this crazy clicking sound coming from inside my dash. Sounded like a damn tazer going off inside my steering wheel/dash area. I messed with the dash lights a little bit to see if it would fix it and after about 1 to 2 mins of this crazy sound it just stopped. I ran out of the car to see if the bulbs blew out but they didnt. Worked fine. Is there a relay on the inside of the dash that was going crazy or something?>

It does not sound like the noise is related to the installation of the kit.

Is the expandable circuit always on? Or does it turn on with the key?

The expandable circuit does not turn on or off, it simply just has a current of electricity going thru it. If you connect it to a constant 12-colt fuse then yes, it will always have a current running thru it. If you connect it to a fuse that only receives power when the ignition is turned on then not it will not always have a current.

Hello! Nice tutorial videos and nice products! I have some questions that I would like to ask. Im driving a Moped Car (Ligier JS50 Sport). I dont think there is a fuse box like you have and my ciggarette lighter thing is used. Im thinking of using my subwoofer amplifier as a power source for my led's. The control box for the interior kit is meant to be mounted inside the car. It is not rated to withstand any heat that might be int he engine bay.

I tried doing a fuse tap with the positive wire adapter to the 15A charger port and a negative to a metal bolt. It works to start, but when I drive the lights go out and no fuse is blown. The LED red light no longer works and neither does the green after I tried again. What's wrong?

Did you test the fuse prior to installing the kit to verify when the fuse receives power? (constant, ignition, headlight, etc)

Anyone know how to be able to have your led lights turn on only when your headlights turn on? I have automatic headlights and I was hoping it would be possible to have power go to the led lights only when the headlights turned on.

Use a test light or multimeter to locate a headlight wire under your vehicles dash. Then connect the red power wire from the kit to that headlight wire.

If the fuse box is under the hood or in the front of the car then we recommend running the lead power wire from the kit directly to the battery. However, the expandable circuit can also be used with fuse boxes that are located under the hood as well.

LED's have very little draw on the battery, however, we do not suggest leaving them on overnight or for an extremely long period of time without starting the vehicle.

They need to make the cords longer. Newer cars the middle between seats is so closed up now. Still doable, but I had absolutely fuck all for slack so the buttons way down low close to the pedals almost 💀 Not THAT low, but damn near close.

Alan The Salamander I did not connect to the headlight fuse instead I connect to the radio accessories fuse. It will stay on everytime when the car is on. However, I can turn on/off on the control box whenever i want. The LED light is quite bright at night. Look cool though especially the music mode.

If the light kit you purchased is an LEDGlow kit, the music mode button will be labeled "Sound" with a speaker icon on it. You may need to adjust the sensitivity wheel on the side of the control box.

If you use zip-ties to install the tubes then yes, they can be moved to another vehicle. If you use the double-sided adhesive to mount the tubes they can still be moved, however, you will need new adhesives.

We do not do installations.

I stripped the wires in attempt to hardwire the kit and the wires aren’t color coded to indicate which is the hot or the ground. One wire has solid stripes (which I assumed is the ground) and the other has letters which I’d assume is the hot. I continued to hardwire the kit according and the lights don’t work. Very disappointed with this product.

It sounds like you may have purchased a non LEDGlow product. As you can see in the video, our control box has a red wire (hot) and a black wire for ground.

Tool he is using to remove the panels is gonna leave marks and bends and scratches. TERRIBLE JOB! I would be one pissed off customer.
