Install a Solid Surface Bathroom Vanity Top | Replace Vanity Countertop

I replaced the cracked and stained vanity top in my bathroom with a new solid surface vanity countertop! These counters are repairable, absolutely beautiful, and easy to install. Shop for yours here: www.solidsurface.com/custom-v... Mine is the color Genova and has a Corian integral undermount sink.
You can find the faucet I purchased here: amzn.to/3FVvVtW (affiliate link)

Thank you so much for sharing this! I had a plumber come for this exact situation and he said it’d be 2000$! I asked him too leave my house lol I super appreciate how you took the time too explain exactly what and why, your doing. Because of this great advice and tutorial of yours , I now feel completely confident on doing this entire job on my own ! I have a feeling his quote was ridiculous but also imagine all other companies quote would be surprisingly high. I know things are expensive these days for everything but when I called I was thinking it’d be much less I don’t mean to insult anyone from, I can appreciate thee company’s expenses etc are very high I just personally was shocked. So anyways back too you , thank you so much! You’ve saved me a ton of money and now do this myself: I love how gratifying it is to look at a project that you’ve never done and completed successfully, I’ll definitely subscribe and look forward too your awesome advice 🎉🎉

Quick tip. Do the faucet first. Then the drain. That way you don't have to work around the drain.

Excellent work, video and narration as usual. Just a plumbing tip for future pipe work, wrap the Teflon tape onto the fittings clockwise so it does not tend to unwind when treading the fitting into place.

I did do that, still unraveled lol. Tried it counterclockwise and it unraveled as well. Not sure how to prevent the plumbing tape from that because no matter what you're going to have an end.

Well, I planned to patch and repair the countertop when I initially redid the vanity. But after all that work I realized the vanity was a material I couldn't repair so I had to get new. If I had known that from the get go I would've just ripped it all out and did new.

I looked into ordering one after watching this because I have an old vanity with non-standard depth, but the freight delivery info made it seem like a huge hassle. You have to unload it yourself with no lift?

Why spend over $700 for the vanity top and not replace the entire vanity? Seems standard available sizing of a new vanity (including top) would be much cheaper, last longer and give better access in and around.

for a 55"x22" it's going to be expensive. it would be 2K for the vanity & decent sink+faucet for my size.

BTW,, you have an "S" trap which is against code. Not a big deal, but if you have problems, you can just install an auto-vent there (inexpensive) to use in place of a vent-through the -roof

you should always put faucets and drain on before you drop in the countertop... soooo much easier then reaching all up in the back hookin up faucet.... awesome seeing you do the things you do... smart girl... and very beautiful...
