    Feels like he tells stories/ teaches in the same way he arranges music. Regardless of the fact that he probably knows who most of his listeners/ viewers are, he always decorates a scene with context, and then reveals immaculate, considerate detail.

    I just feel so good just like hanging out with you, i'm skipping around bursting into song and making a tuna sandwhich with lots of raw onions and raw garlic. I love the sharing its just great, cosmically musical vibes and down to earth and humanizing! I am inspired and want to hang out and puff a magic dimension of musical Energy, Interplanetary Good Vibe Zone. Music, is like in between being the non-physcial pure positive energy basis of all things and physcialized and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pleasurable.

    Love the comment about singing... I agree and I adore the Dirty Projectors and I Adore Your singing Voice. . I love the timbre and feeling of open music loving energy ... in your voice just singing a really good melody in the pocket. Bathtub was amazing because your phrasing is like MJ but your tone is so you.. this is something i feel is harder to find, really agreesive mj like phrasing baritone singers with nice round warm tone.... Lots of that in Brazillian music.

    Why did he tune using the other stings, I thought he had perfect pitch, lol

  • @Proghead88

    @Proghead88

    3 жыл бұрын

    Perfect pitch does not replace relative pitch to ensure strings sound good with each other. You can have the best ear in the world, but the outside world/objects are not perfect and you can't assume it will automatically sound good by individually tuning. Another reason might be that his relative pitch is a lower-pressure, quicker process he doesn't have to think about while talking to the camera and interacting with others. Perfect pitch is simply the ability to recognize and remember the sound of a pitch, but the discrepancies in tuning that make two strings sound slightly off together are smaller than simply recognizing what is A, Bb, B, C, etc... long story short, relative pitch can actually be more powerful and useful than perfect pitch.

    Wouldn't trade my relative pitch for all the money in the world ... well, maybe ALL the money in the world. An immeasurably useful tool tho

    No, he was giving examples of people you can have a conversation with, as well as describing how many layers of emotion you can have for a person. There are aspects of how you feel about certain people you care about that resemble other people or spill over into your connection with someone else.
