The audio quality was better using the audio adapter and having the DJI transmitter/receiver arrangement. The audio sounded clearer. There was no difference between the firmware versions, when both cameras were connected to the DJI mic’s via Bluetooth.

Hallo. Zu dem Ton ist ja alles gesagt. Kann es sein das die Bildqualität bei den beiden Ace unterschiedlich sind ? Ich meine das die eine ( mit der alten Firmware ) nicht so scharf war wie die mit der neuen Firmware - was sich aber später auch mit der gleichen Firmware nicht geändert hat. Qualitätsunterschiede ? so at 5:20 are you speaking into the mic2 wirelessly into the dji pocket 2 ? because that audio is crystal clear vs the insta360 acepro with dji mic 2 wirelessly via bluetooth. its great that the update allowed for bluetooth mics. But why do they sound so muffled wirelessly vs plugged in ? even plugged it does not seem to sound as clear as Dji mic 2 wirelessy connected to dji poket 2. I was going to get the mic 2 for my ace pro. But not if it is this muffled. I rather just record audio seperately and synch it up for the time being untill they can get a nice good clean clear and crystal quality.

I think the audio bluetooth thing is limited by dji protocoles...wired they sound great...wirelessly not so satisfying..it stays acceptavle if we want to use the mic as a voice command unit for the camera

Only problem is you can't use mic gains while using Bluetooth on the insta ace pro thats why it's better to have dji action 4 and dji mic Bluetooth

Don't think so because its a protocole of the dji mic i think. In my opinion we can read from the device via this bluetooth connection but not control the device

Thanks for the test. Although the connection via the adapter gives the best result, the bluetooth connection is much easier and also very acceptable. Do you think that the dji mic 2 bluetooth performs better compared to the smartmike+ ?

Insta360 sounds pretty bad w/ the BT. Odd because the Action 4 sounds great with the BT. IDK why Ace Pro can't up thier BT sounds quality. Same for iPhone. The Mic 2 sounds amazing on the Action 4 & Pocket 3 w/ the BT connection.

I think its because of an internal protocole of bluetooth specific to dji thats why dji mic communicates well with dji products

Interesting, would I have to plug the USB C receiver into the adapter to power the receiver? So would then connect them via the 3.55mm Jack or will it work? Sorry for all the questions, I have a Hohem mic-01 and just trying to figure out if it would work with the Ace Pro Mic Adapter. 😊

Usb c is for power not for audio transmission here

You can power the camera via this usb c port. The receiver should be charged of course

The Bluetooth connection sounds pretty much the same with both firmware versions. More disappointingly, trying to record the audio separately on the DJI Mic 2 still doesn't work for me when the mic is connected to the Ace Pro.

That's because of the dji protocole i think that does not allow other devices to use it to the fully
