@prateekkanungo I just kept trying. On about the 6th attempt I gave up and it suddenly worked 😒 I kind of resent being forced to install a phone app that I will never use. One of those products where the first version was actually better, just because it was slightly more simple to set up and use. Still a unique camera, though.

Via bluetooth or wifi, mine doesn’t connect on ipad, help!!!!!! It connects before. After I delete and rinstalled the app it didn’t. Tried for more than 20 times. 😢😢😢😢

That App is not in my playstore ?

That is also what I am seeing on my android phone, I do not see that app in the play store. How do you get that particular app??????? I see other things for insta360. First one is called Insta360 player - but pretty sure that is not the correct app.

@dathyr1 hey my phone is not compatible with it 😒 you are probably the same if you have an old phone install it to that or your friends phone connect the app then you can use the camera and edit on the desktop app

@@DickieRascal Thanks for your reply. I don't understand the stupid reasoning behind all this. So I can activate the X3 camera on someone else's phone and don't need the insta360 app anymore after that???? Kind of dumb way to do the camera. What kind of security is this if I am using someone else's phone to pair the camera????? Can we see the serial number on the X3 camera when we first buy it without activating it. I know there is insta360 studio for my PC that asks for a serial number. And I can't use the Studio until I have a serial number of the camera. This makes more sense than that dumb activation. I am contacting Insta360 Monday and find out how I can use their camera if my phone is not compatible with my Android phone. I am not buying the X3 camera until there is an easy way to activate and use it, plus not have to beg someone if I can use their phone. Anyway, thanks for your reply again.

@@dathyr1 i agree, have a Insta360 X3. Couldn't download, brought a new phone, still can't download. Spent more than $1,000, wasted more than a thousand.

Redmi & realme & honor.. i try to connect. To insta360 x3 .. its poor video .. Better use iphone
