I hope Dr sulieman or someone can answer my question. I have a bad thought in my mind after making dua. Why will Allah answer my dua when there are those suffering around the world who are surely also making dua but theirs is not being answered? I feel so bad to even write this, but it’s a whispering in my mind. I believe and know Allah has answered my duas in the past, but this evil thought comes to me and I can’t shake it. Please someone answer and help me!!

Salam alaikum 🌸 some points to reflect on: - How do you know that Allah is not answering? Allah answers in 3 possible ways: either by giving you what you want in this life, or giving it in the afterlife, or removing from you an evil. The last two are from the unseen, so how can you affirm that Allah has not answered? Furthermore, the answer can be in the form of giving them strength, patience and tranquility through the hardship. - Allah answers when He knows it is best for us. He knows everything, and we don't know. We must trust His timing even if we don't understand it. - Making du'a is not a transaction. Our relationship with Allah is not like "I give You du'a, and You give me what I ask for". That's not how it works. We make du'a because our Lord has ordered us to worship Him and ask Him. I hope these few words can clarify your mind a bit... Don't shame yourself for these thoughts, but do try to connect with the Quran and listen to lectures to understand du'as better. Sheikh Belal Assaad recently shared a great lecture called "Talking to Allah"; inshaAllah it can help you! Salam alaikum, and never stop asking Allah ❤
