Nothing like living in a cob home! For some of you wondering, other countries might give more opportunities for building without permits. I live in Panama and built a 1300 sq ft mud home without a permit. Total freedom!

It’s actually a very well written and comprehensive book kzread.infoUgkxhgbP-6hUnXu_QRaoHgLztgsI0YF3HqR0 . I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

This is the only round house that has the same design I figured out with the walls inside, that it winds around and no doors because it would feel more spacious and like traveling inside a shell😊 so it's nice to see someone have the same idea and see it in real life

LOVE IT!!! It's so unique. I would build a twisty rustic loft to be able to be near the cupola at night and see the sky. I love all the details of the dutch door and the round windows. Very cozy.

Sadly it will not happen, but my dream home was either cob or straw bale. I love those deep window wells, the soft edges with no tacky moulding used to cover poor building practices. Your home is truly an organic structure to say the least. It is so beautiful. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Love the cob space and the presentation of it. I helped build some cob homes back in the 90s and loved its organic nature with such awesome artistic and individual style possibilities. There is something so warm about being in a cob structure that feels like a gentle hug.

This is a stunning cob house! Makes a difference when an artist or two are involved in the design and refinements. A beautiful and unique outcome. I'm in Portland and wish I knew these people so I could take a tour ;- ). It wasn't mentioned if they rent it out, but I bet they could do an Air BnB successfully [with a bathroom somewhere on the property]. Kudos to the owners/designers/builders/decorators/maintainers!

I love it im very arty so i really like the hands on making curves abd literally sculpting the shape you like. . Fantastic thats absolutely beautiful they got a channel? what did they use for paint outside? think key is that depth with rock many do this in humid climates and dont do thsat they do it on dirt they mold. plus showers are a bad idea in them too unless you got heat like woof stove the couple i saw had no heat was on ground it molded. taking showers in cobb house in cool climate with no heat bad idea. . i cant believe this is possible and holds up in uk, i totally stopped looking into doing that here when i heard about moisture. Wow in uk and they work in wet climates as long as big roof kept out from walls. wow thats amazing i want to do this. I didnt think you could do that in uk or that they would work in a permanent humid climate. all i need now is land lol No permit needed really under 200 quare feet. is that only count if you have an existing building? id build several then. one for kitchen. one for bedroom. one for living area. In uk your prbably better building the roof up first like a overhang shelter then working on it. it rains all time be horrendous to try do this in uk and try keep it dry. how long did it take?

Where is this I saw there’s normal houses around and it looks like it’s in a neighborhood! I want to do my own but don’t know any places that would allow this kind of building. I really don’t want to live in a cookie cutter box house and I don’t want to pay the ridiculous prices that those cookie cutter houses are at. I feel like building a home like this is the most satisfactory thing a person can do for themselves.

Hi Dylan- FYI I went to the website for this little portable cooler and had a negative experience on the website... I was there for 10 seconds and they asked me politely if I wanted to take a survey about the functioning of the website, so they could improve it ....which I doubted because how could I really know after 10 seconds of being on their website and so turned out to be BS! It's just them I'm trying to hook you and sell you stuff... it's disappointing.. I guess, I trusted that this is a good product hearing it from you. I know you have to make your living somehow,in addition to just producing videos... but I just was hoping they wouldn't be participating in the same BS of every other product trying to be sold on the internet...
