Hit by Sniper:
The world of offshore big game angling is one of vast distances, far off destinations, and of course; incredible fishing stories.
This fishing story happened on dry land @CasaViejaLodge with a true American Hero, retired Lt. Colonel Scott Coulson. He asked me to take my camera out for this to spread both his incredible story and his inspirational message. All of us have our struggles in life, Lt. Colonel Coulson spreads the word of picking oneself up and rising to the top.
He goes on to speak of the effects of trauma and how important mental and emotional healthcare are to those who need it, especially veterans. Absolutely a once in a lifetime experience and privilege to have the man himself tell me this story in person while both of us were in Guatemala pursuing one of our passions.
Thank a veteran when you see one, they deserve it! Much appreciation to all the branches of the United States military! We have every single one of the branches here in Hawai'i and we proudly support them at Ninth Island Nation.
