Inspectah Deck / RZA - I.N.S. For President Full Album WUTANG

Not a real LP. This is a reframing of Inspectah Deck verses and songs over RZA beats......a re-imagining of the INS/RZA album that never was.

As far as leading off a song and punchlines Deck was the best I agree, dude was just a straight lyricist. Gza and Deck were the lyricists out of the Wu IMO, just dat after dart from them.

@@carlycarlucci1301 I don't think deck had the right beats on his albums. I think that was a major problem for his success. Gza had fire kung fu string beats and a street story telling style to match on liquid swords. Sometimes if you don't have the right beats, you get overlooked, no matter how heavy of a lyricist you are.

Exactly my very thoughts man! This is what ‘Unontrolled Substance’ could have been, even though it’s still a dope album as it is,the production didn’t have that prime, mid 90s,classic RZA production sound, that it would have had without the studio flooding, which also knocked ‘Decks debut back a good couple of years at least! We’ve got this now though, thanks to the blending talents of this dude! This is straight fire….. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

@Jonathan Soko Not trying to dis you but Holocaust wasn't even thought of back then. Holocaust came some 10 years later in the late 90s. The material Rza lost would have been ultimately used during that period of dominance when those first solos were dropping. Deck and U God would have had greater success and Rza would have at least doubled his production credits.

@@larryburks592 Listen, we all know RZA was a musical force of nature back in the 90s, but he fell off like nearly 20 years AGO with the quality of his production. Even YOU are talking about things RZA did atleast 20 years ago. What has he done this year, last year, 5 years ago, hell 10 YEARS ago that blew our minds?! His last album (Digi Snacks) was absolutely horrid and uninspired, and that was 11 years ago. People not in the know still talk about him as if he's still making dope shit, which he's just clearly not. So, when this dude says RZA gets too much credit, he's right. I don't want to hear RZA production on anything in 2019, because I know I'm going to be underwhelmed yet again, and again and again. I LOVE RZA and the WU, and I'm an old Wu head. But I gotta be real and say that RZA ain't hittin and hasn't been hittin for YEARS.

@Born Savior Bronze Nazareth wasn't around until around like 2004-2005. He didn't help create any Wu sounds. He was apart of the new era of Wu producers at the time, along with Cilvaringz. But RZA was the main mind behind the early Wu sound, and everyone associated with the Wu confirmed that as a fact. The thing was that he would work closely with alot of the other Wu Elements like 4th, True, Buddha Monk, and even Ykim the Ill figure. That was one of the strengths of the early Wu albums. Every album was a collabortive effort behind the scenes, with the main Wu members adding their input, and the Wu lost that creative process after 1998. That's why Supreme Clientele was so dope, because it was Ghost working closely with RZA and being meticulous with the arrangement of the album, even though the album had quite a few outside producers contributing production. Though to be fair, Ghostface is always fuckin dope, cause he's Ghostface.

  • @larryburks592

RZA still got it which is why he got the hottest tracks on that Nas album. And so what if what he accomplished was 20 years ago. The man LOST all of his original material in that basement flood, had to go back and recreate EVERY ALBUM he lost and they still came out classic. Name me 1 producer besides RZA that has ever, let alone even capable of pulling off that amount of work in such a short time, and the quality as well. Producers can barely even produce a classic track and this dude got 7 albums under his belt that's classic and a ton of soundtracks. The reason RZA don't produce like he used to is because the HOLLYWOOD money is waaaaaaaay better and cats don't buy Wu like that anymore. I don't blame him either. There is a few emcees from that era that can still sell recorded and Nas and Jay might be the only ones.

@@larryburks592 You're deluded and in denial. Nothing you're saying is making any sense. Tanasia was dope, but that was a 20 year old archive beat, atleast. RZA ain't making beats like that anymore, and the dopest tracks on the Lost Tapes II are the Pete Rock produced tracks: Queensbridge Politics, and The Art of It. Actually most of the tracks on that album were hard. But the reason Wu heads sweatin' Tanasia so hard is because niggaz is literally starvin' for that style of production from RZA, because he got so lame and hasn't released a beat of that caliber in decades. Deep down you know I'm right. But back to the topic at hand... First off, plenty of producers have produced mad classic albums in a short period of time. RZA is not special in that regard. You got DJ MUGGS, Pete Rock, J Dilla, DR. DRE, HAVOC, KANYE, but the only person i need to mention is DJ PREMIER. Premo was active since 1989 producing not only Gangstarr albums, but everyone under that movement, like Jeru the Damaja, Showbiz and AG, etc. Not to mention he was producing for a ton of classic major hip hop artists of the era like crazy (Jay Z, Nas, Fat Joe, etc). Do you even listen to hip hop?!😆 I will agree that RZA in his prime was untouchable. Like, no one has outdone the shit he has accomplished production wise in the Wu heyday. Like I said, he was a musical force of nature. I'm a true blue Wu head since 1993, but I'm not a stan, and I'm not gonna deny the bullshit levels the Wu has sunk down to, due to RZA falling off. And RZA fell the fuck off, HARD. Every groundbreaking thing you mention about RZA happened back in the 90s. You can't name anything he's done after the year 2000 that was amazing. You sound like the type of fan that just "YES MAN" the artists he likes. You gotta be real, and call out the wack shit for what it is. I LOVE the Wu, but The Wu as a unit is wack now, and has been for about 20 years. It just is what it is.
