One of the best and most consistent metal bands ever.

I love how they're like, "wow, we haven't really played this song many times. We could possibly screw up." Then they begin to completely shred like they've played it a million times haha.

Almost every single Insomnium song sounds simultaneously like a discovered piece of treasure hidden in the forest that you can hear when you find it. they found like 3 dozen of 'em. ....Insomnium songs are mostly Lullaby, Metal epic, poem hybrids, as well as that other thing..

Love this band , I think the live sound doesn’t fully live up to the album versions :( . But it’s still very good

Its so sad that the vocalist uses effect. I prefer singers that their voice can be dark without vocals . For example the vocalist of Septic Flesh. His voice is pure evil without using effects...
