Note:the turf wars is a PvP where one team plays as symbiotes and the other as spider men.

I honestly dont know why they would cancel this this is literally every spiderman fans dream game.. cac good gameplay and random events? That’s literally what comics are ,constant content.

@@TheTom20 this would be better than single player also they used 315 million for this game with paid dlcs and skins they would easily make that back ten fold.. they could easily go the Fortnite route look at how save the world haf a different story it can definitely be done imagine a knull raid that covers entire nyc and you have spider people, (possibly) mutants, and the avengers helping in future games it would be more hype than gta6 literally a comic like event

My first thoughts about hearing this game… WHYYYYY?! This is like, every Spider-Man fans dream. We been waiting for this since shattered dimensions! It would’ve made a lot of money. I know if suicide squad made all that money this game would have shut the whole console servers down for days! They would’ve been rich.

Here is my theory. With enough support from the community, Insomniac will make The great web, but it won’t be until after Spider-Man 3. If they do release they will tease the game in the post credit scene of SM3 and that will lead in to the great web story

My only concern is how expensive and demanding it is to make a Spiderman multiplayer game hence why i believe they cancelled the game

@@ultimateSkadooshno they already said why they cancelled it. Sony said they didn’t want make any online games for there exclusivity and stick with single player stuff. But I think if it get enough hype they will release it. I just don’t see how Sony doesn’t see there biggest money maker, how could they not make an online game for spidey. He is the reason they are still relevant

Literally the PS5 is Relevant cause of Spiderman, Insomniac has given us 3 games this generation, i hope the make it happen sometime in the future…. It will be huge

I hope we get Kaine Parker, Scarlett Spider, Spider-Woman, Spider Gwen, Venom, Spider-Man 2099, and Alpha.

I think they're gna bring it out at a later time, being tht they showed the cutscene after collecting all the spiderbots, and silk was showed also so im thinking this next game will revolve around peter miles and silk and some elaborate some more on the spiderverse stuff along with gwen/Ghost, then the next game will be the so called canceled game. I think they showed us it early to get reactions and feedback and they will build the next SM games up to it's release

I hope this comes to fruition one day. But I can’t see this happening till after SM3 at the very least. As an online live service game, it’ll take away a lot of time, money and resources to make and keep on running. But we could see an aspect of this come to 3 if they allow co op online. But that would also require the game and story to always have 2 Spider-Man playable. Unless they make it that Co op is only possible for certain missions and those with only one spidey is done solo. If there was to be a live service game, it would probably be best if they get another studio (one of their live service studios) or get a new studio to focus on it. Since technically, all the bases already there (gameplay, works). Just new enemies, missions etc need to be developed.

They shiuld just turn this into an avengers game and do a way better job than the other avengers game did. Same concept new york city with free roam only not everyone has to be only spider-man or a version of spider-man. Id love to see how insomniac would handle other marvel characters in a multiplayer game honestly.

@@Buffy1227there has been a new leak on the coming dlc, i will try to validate it and cover it this evening, the leaks just proved my point on the previous podcast but yeah i would love to see Doctor strange or Iron Man 😂 i know doctor strange was referenced in MS2 so he is more likely to be in a future game but Iron Man is a stretch

I hope insomniac un cancels this game it would of been one of the best games on right now L Sony 🤦🏽‍♂️

This is just my opinion, i hope they don't make this. I'd rather they didn't waste resources and just keep making single player games. In the last 6 years insomniac gave us 4 bangers, how many other studios are making that many games that quick? If they make a live service game we'll see less actual games being made and a manifestation of the toxic fan base crying over battle pass content and skins locked behind pay walls that would already be free in a single player game. I'd prefer some smaller co-op mode like ghost of tsushima's online. Nothing crazy, less is more.
