Insightful Robin Williams Quotes That Will Make You Think

Robin Williams (July 21, 1951 - August 11, 2014) was an American actor and comedian. Known for his improvisational skills and the wide variety of characters he created on the spur of the moment and portrayed on film, in dramas and comedies alike, he is regarded as one of the greatest comedians of all time.
Robin Williams is known for being a once in a lifetime comedian, actor and human being. These Robin Williams quotes about life, both personal and from movies (such as Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poet's Society, Jack and Aladdin) give insight into the wisdom and knowledge he possessed, especially regarding life, love, appreciation, depression, anxiety, loneliness and friendship. I also believe these quotes can help us appreciate the beauty and creativity of his mind as well as all the great stuff he has left us with. These quotes may be helpful when facing anxiety, stress, pain, grief and difficult times, and can also provide support for sleep when having trouble sleeping and getting some rest. I hope you enjoy this video!

God bless Robbie Williams, gone to the 'Summerland' where all of us eventually go! Such a philosopher, and all his words ring very true. Loved listening to each and everyone of his quotes. Enjoyed some of his many films. And no one knew his heart held such poignant sadness... And it's true, very true we only have an alloted time span upon this earthplane so we have to make life deep and meaningful as time in this world is very short! I believe in love too and in destiny. I have always believed in destiny, and are guided by my hearts intuition, it has the answers for me... God rest and bless Robin Williams soul for all eternity x

Didn't watch his early sitcom. (Mork & Mindy.) Started hearing his name. Got to see him later in a standup comedy routine. Very good. Saw him in a 2 hour long Actor's Studio interview some yesrs ago. With host James Lipton. Taken with his articulate multi-)ayered responses. Interesting man. Looked sad at times. Got the impression it was difficult to be who he was. Saw some of his good movies. Talented and troubled. More to him than I first realized. RiP.

All these are so true. We went to Maui in 2014, the day we landed the news that Robin Williams died. This news was especially sad to me as I had the privilage of seeing Robin Williams in person and sat 2nd row center. He was right there in front of me, so very close. He was truely amazing. What I remember most is his ability to tell a story and the whole auditorium would be completely silent listening intently on his every word, you could hear a pin drop, a moment of silence and then in the next instance he would say something so funny the whole audience roared with laughter. I've always been saddened by his passing and the way he passed, there's a sense that someone, something could have helped him. But alas, that wasn't meant to be, and we all must forgive him. You see, a few years later a friend of mine took his life in much the same way. That same sense that someone, something could have helped him haunts me everyday as I could not be there to be that person. Thanks for this, it helps to remember Robin Williams and what a wonderful soul he was and the joy he brought to everyone through his crazy characters and antics.

It’s always a surreal feeling when someone we don’t intimately know, but are connected to, like Robin, passes away. It’s even heavier having seen them in person like you did. His words and presence were always felt and will always be missed, and like you said, it hurts a bit more knowing that him and so many other people felt so much pain in their lives that they had to find a way to no longer feel it. Robin Williams was always a positive influence in my life, in this world where many celebrities are not, and it was a pleasure of mine to put his words out to the world. I’m really happy you enjoyed this video!

I want to thank you for your words . I remember when I heard it was suicide I was EXTREMELY ANGRY at him , I’m a total hypocrite as I tried suicide, the struggle to come to the decision was long for me as is for a lot of survivors of suicide, it’s no easy way to think about, the war inside just wanted the pain both physically & mentally . It’s NOT the easy way out people say it is. It’s after trying to live with everything when your whole life has been a tragedy. I understand him & the reason he made that decision. I cried for months in the shower because my roommates thought I was stupid for feeling like that. I had to mourn him alone, the only place I could find support was with people online. The haters were so mean and talked a lot of bullshit, stuff his children will see sometime that they should never need to come across. His compassion, empathy & sympathy for all people even the assholes. I have a notebook I write him like we’re talking face to face. I celebrate both his bday and his passing . I wanted to thank you for your honesty, openness, respect and sharing your experience in actually seeing him 2nd row middle section, I feel every word you wrote and everyone else that shared the love with him. Him & Joan Rivers are making everybody laugh !!

But way is it, that people like him have to die, that others start to wake more up? I really do not get this world. It is not made for people like him and me and I wonder, how long I can deal with this shit! And don't say the word therapist, because they are the worst. Taking huge amount of money, but know nothing of real life, because they learned all by heart what is in their books, but have no real heart left. They have no respect from my side anymore, none! I know more than one case, as one of their patience was getting worse, after their "treatment". No one needs those nonsense-doctors!

Beautiful & compelling words - written with the passion Robin had for life, love & humanity. The title of this video, alongside Robin's photo, suggested to me that this transcript was going to culminate with the point that Robin was a good person, but he ended up in hell. I wonder if he thought he would be going to hell. It seemed to me that he DID end up in the worst possible condition, *"being with someone who made him feel so alone."* Did she 'drive' him to suicide, did she encourage it? How could she live in the same household and only discover him dead for several hours? Why, when he was so beloved by so many people, did he now know it? As a society, we need to do better. We need to look out for EACH OTHER. Life in the U.S. should NOT be, *"looking out for #1,"* Look out for EACH other; pray for each other. And remember, turn to Our Heavenly Father or Mother Mary & seek their comfort, love & wisdom. It's so much better than taking one's life. I don't believe Robin is in hell. I believe he's making all the occupants of Heaven laugh themselves crazy. God bless Robin Williams. May he have found the love in eternal life in Heaven.

There never has been a good person who wound up in hell. "Good" is an abstract concept. Jesus is the only person who is qualified to decide who is good and who isn't. The main reason people wind up in hell is because they refuse his lordship over them and therefore are devoid of the ability to love.
