A short animation film created & directed by Salvador Simo (Spain), original music by the composer & producer - Menni Even - Haim (Israel, Even - Haim Music productions).
The plot tells the story of an encounter between an old & lonely beggar, with a tragical life story and a joyful little girl. The encounter reveals several aspects of the beggar's inner world, insights about her life and about the power of hope and optimism.
The film takes the viewers through a personal process of insights of the society we're living in. It shows, how important it is to reach out a loving hand to the "transparent" people, those who are nearly seen, especially today, when technology makes us more self - concentrated and less aware of our surrounding. we have the duty to remember, that the interpersonal connection between human beings, is unparalleled - it can light up the darkest corners in someone's hearts, and by so, change his life, significantly, for the better.

Sweet film ,was waiting for lady to teach young girl her skill with paper figures but enjoyable never the less it's just so sad when we get old we become invisible ,but young people discover how even when old folks are forgotten they have so much to teach young people 😎✌️

Wonderful!!!! We may never know or realize the difference we make in someone’s life, we all have a personal history that makes up who we are, and just a smile, a wave, a brief eye contact, a “hello” can be so comforting in someone’s life.
I want to know more! Give us a part 2 and tell us what happened to the old lady's husband and child please. The music was exquisite. It gave me Paris during the 40's vibes. You are all so talented!

I think this animation based on a true story 'cause its said :"With all my love for Magela and Maria". If I wasn't wrong. But I don't know. If this doesn’t have part 2, maybe this is the reason since they don't want to talk about a miserable life of an old lady.

@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ --if you are truly a follower of Jesus Christ you would have the courage to walk up to a person on the street or use a gospel message on Social Media, instead of clogging up a comment section of a video with your totally unrelated message. A lovely story. And it's strange how we sometimes don't realize what all goes into these pieces. I was amazed at how many musicians it took to create that wonderful music.

As well you can see the credits. I always envision 1 person staying up all night drawing and planning, editing and looking for music to download from the internet. What an awesome insight! Life will never be the same. 😊❤ also I often watch videos without sound and just happened to have the sound on for this one!

Sad that in reality it really is getting hard for old people to have a home anymore. Some of us have very little to live on and rent is so high. I've seen people in their 80's having to work to supplement their social security income just to pay rent. Now a days so many are becoming homeless because they don't have enough to support themselves on.

If every son and every daughter decides to give a home or at least a room for their parents there won't be any more homeless people. The available free space is independent of the size of the house they live in but depends on the love they have for their parents.

Wow, it was so sad yet so ‘happy’ too… I am speechless… I had tears for sure…
The orchestra playing at the end was perfect, the soul brought into the light.
Un filmuleț profund. Doar doamna și fetița (și pisicile) aveau față, chip. Iubirea micuței fetițe, sărutul fetiței i-a dat viață doamnei, avea pentru ce să se ridice din "pat". S-a simțit iubită, a devenit o persoană demnă de a fi iubită, așa cum era odată când era cu părinții ... Voi viziona filmulețul cu copiii la grădiniță. Copiii sunt inocenți și inocența lor trebuie apărată. Muzica orchestrei o frumusețe!
I work with 4 non profit organizations that focus on our senior heroes and young beings. From elderly humans to newly born babies and not forgetting our animals who are in need of food medical care and home. It has been nothing but a true honour. And when I was in my early 20s I also spent money on training myself and served as a volunteer Paramedic. Yet again, I'm honored that God allowed me to experience so much in order to appreciate the little things in life. Also the power of NOW. Because "later" is not promised. We humans can do so much! So much! If we set our minds to it. If we know how each of us are unique and powerful on our own, we certainly can be kind and caring towards others, and be the light for one another. This video has a deeper message that was successfully conveyed to the viewer. So heart breaking, our reality. Yet so much heart warming things we can do for our humans, animals, insects and earth. This was so beautiful and if this is continued I want the little girl to convince her mother to go and get the beautiful old woman and take her in, build a strong friendship and add her to their family. Then the little girl, the mother and the beautiful old woman can support and empower each other. I guess I’m thinking about what I would do.

So glad the old lady found a friend in that little girl. I love old people and now I'm getting there. I lived in a basement apartment for a few years and there was this old lady named Umgart. She was German. She was a feisty lady. I was in my 20's at the time. When she passed away it was hard for me. Down the street there was a lady I was friends with. She was feisty too. Loved her stories. She passed last year at 95. I miss her a lot.
This story have really caught my attention. The value of kindness and attention . How sad do get old in this condition..

So lovely that the lil girl connected with the homeless ole lady & that her Mom allowed it (supervising without interferring). The "street-granny" had value in their eyes. When the lil girl didn't show as anticipated, I found myself hoping she was not sick or worse.. I hoped the note would be an invite? Loved this! It could be followed up with more as the lil girl grows up & continues to develop her special connection to her adopted "street granny"..
This is heart touching ❤. She is a great grandma. Honestly if she was real. I would literally try and help her. I would like to have a grandma like that. I would like her to teach me how to make paper animals. That is really cool making animals. The girl maybe had to move to another place. She didn't forgot about her and left her a drawing. The made me have some tears come out. Such a nice video. 😇😍❤👍

@@loislainern5062 no. Where the grandma was sleeping. The little girl put a note. When the grandma woke up. She saw the note and it was the grandma and the little girl happy. Maybe the little girl put the note there because she was going to move somewhere so to remember her. She put a put a note and then left to another city or town.

He visto los comentarios y coincido en algo que nos gustaria ver como la abuela enseña su habilidad de hacer juguetes de papel a la niña... ella la lleva a su casa la adoptan como abuela. La niña continua la historia enseñando la habilidad a sus hijos y nietos. Hay muchos abuelos en hogares de ancianos olvidados por sus familias. Asi que la segunda parte me gustaria ver a la abuela tener una familia de verdad aunque no sea la verdadera.
