You haven't heard of it, because these blessed men of God made most of it up. 😏 Notice how they neglected to mention that the Catholic Church was in bed with the Great German National Socialist Leader? 😉

I used to run circles and engage in mental gymnastics to try and make the round peg of the Bible fit into the square hole of evolution. And yes it was that way around: I was trying to make the Bible fit evolution, not evolution fit the Bible. That’s the effect of what modern Catholic schooling taught me was important. They’d never say it that explicitly, but that’s the effect of what was taught and how it was taught. Evolution was a matter of fact, and to doubt or dispute it would be a fool’s gambit as that would be like the fundamentalists and would be anti-intellectual and anti-science. But one could make the Bible malleable and adapt anything contradictory to evolution or science in it to being merely symbolic. You wouldn’t just throw out the Bible, but it was the thing that was malleable to the solid doctrine of “science” (really scientism) not the other way around. And again, this was never explicit but was just the implicit implication of how and what they taught that I’ve only wisened up to in recent years as an adult with the help of the good work of Sensus Fidelium, the Kolbe Center, and the Fatima Center here. So thank you! Because ultimately, if evolution is true, it’s not merely a biological process but is an entire cosmology and a worldview paradigm. And if natures can change from one thing into another thing entirely, so can doctrine and truth itself over time. Evolution is at the root of Modernism.

The various documentaries by IllustraMedia are also excellent, if you’re not already aware of them. There are so many great resources, even on KZread which are great at exposing the deep scientific flaws of the narrative surrounding evolution. The “creative power” of random mutations and natural selection simply aren’t “creative”, contrary to what so many materialists hope and dream about. In fact, mutations are far more destructive than creative.

Excellent, we Catholics need to educate ourselves in science.

When I was "taught" evolution in grade school, I lost my faith in God, since he was actually NOT the Creator. Thankfully, I got my faith back, through prayer for it, and know that He is THE Creator, and sustains ALL.

Much of the theoretical basis of modern "science" is tentative and thus dubious, whether in cosmology or biology. Obviously technology has advanced (not necessarily always to the benefit of humanity), but technology does not uniquely correspond to theoretical constructs, which are speculative rather than practical, and hence can be explained as phenomena or manifestations of more than one possible true natural cause. In short, the hypothesis of evolution and the various hypotheses of cosmology (such as the "big bang" or general relativity or the absurdity of the landscape of "multiverses") are merely provisional attempts to systematize human knowledge without at all being apodictic or probative..

Topics like this one tend to attract a lot of people just interested in fighting or name calling. When they see they can't ratio the video into oblivion they tend to back off.

I don't know why Christians are so obsessed with evolution. It's not bad, dont be so afraid of science. Just keep praying to God everyday and don't worry about something like evolution getting in the way of your faith with God

Evolution is at the core of many teachings of the devil from the supernatural aspect of the sacrament of marriage being stated on genesis, evolutionist taking it as an allegorical account would deny the importance of marriage in the history of humanity, even in some cases with the so called "queer theologists" that like to deny or even take Genesis as allegorical most of the time, to force whatever sexual deviance they happen to like. But most importantly that nature is not fallen and so men are not fallen from the grace of God, that happens to be the core political teaching of modern philosophy.

It is assumed that the Catholic Church, which is itself in error thanks to our heretical pope, still has the authority to consecrate the Orthodox Russian church. Therefore, I believe it may already too late for this without Devine intervention.
