Inside Zimbabwe Most Expensive Neighborhoods🇿🇼
In today's video, I will be visiting and touring Zimbabwe's Most Privilege & Luxurious Estate for the Wealthy.
In zimbabwe, homes increase in size and value toward the north. unlike the episodes in zimbabwe, the wealthy neighborhoods are concentrated in Harare's northern suburbs, home to the more affluent population of the city including former president Robert Mugabe.

Those Jacaranda trees make Zim look stunning,I like how our culture values importance of trees and building around them instead of destroying them. Our love for trees comes from the indigenous San people who valued trees.Proud to be a Zimbabwean, let’s tackle corruption and Zim can become the crown jewel of Africa again, minus sanctions. Southern Africa is going through an upsurge in growth as Mozambique is now experiencing economic growth,Zambia is also going through a boom,as well as Namibia,so Zim is the final one to take off.

It was the white colonialists that grew the jacarandas in what was then the white neighborhoods. You won’t find Jacarandas in Mbare or Zengeza, All these neighborhoods Borrowdale, Borrowdale Brooks, Hogati Hills, Graystone Park etc were designed and built by the whites for the whites. That’s why as soon as a black makes money they don’t build in the neighborhood they grew up. They move to the suburbs the whites built for themselves. What you’re looking at as a country being built on the colonial framework where the rich are very rich and the poor very poor. The more things change the more they stay the same. Only the top 1 percent of Zimbabweans live there. Not pioneers of great industry but the politically well connected. The rest? Well…

@@chrisv.noire.6388 Wrong you bigot,Jacaranda trees are found in other parts of Zimbabwe,if you go to Mutare you will find them in black neighbourhood,in fact Mutare is black city anyways so it’s blacks who live in those nice places with Jacaranda trees. Zambia is worse than Zimbabwe in terms of infrastructure and the people. Namibia has its advantage due to its unique landscape by the atlantic ocean on one side and nambia desert on the other side, as well its few population. But people have different tastes and likes. For me, I would rather choose Zimbabwe.
Woooow. Had never seen this side of Zimbabwe before. You have highlighted ZW on the map Steven - well done.
Why is Zimbabwe so misrepresented? These top five richest neighborhoods look nicer than most of our top five in Nairobi (personal opinion). The city of Harare too looks the same or even better than Nairobi CBD. Again, looks can be deceiving but my perception is that Harare is one nice city.

I think in Zimbabwe we tend to have houses on larger plot sizes compared to a lot of other African countries I have been too. This is probably due to a range of factors such as that we like to stay at home a lot more, or maybe we just have larger division of residential land and etc, as compared to a country like South Africa were I've have noticed houses tend to be build on smaller land sizes. Zimbabwe has a massive inequality problem evident by the fact that Mbare and Borrowdale exist in the same city

Zimbabwean here! Thank you for doing this phenomenal video and for your openmindedness about Zim! Fantastic channel! I’m going to check out your other videos and wish your channel all the best regards growth and success!
I'm Zimbabwean, I've been living here for 17 years, I can gladly say this video is accurate although some places where missed, even chisipite is very wealthy, we lived there for 9 years and we sold our 3 bedroom house for 1.5 mil

All the places you have shown are beautiful, especially that they are covered with greenery. But the one that appeal to me is the West Prop development. I like it because the development will cator for the working class. Some people like me can't afford the big mansions however I want to live in a morden nice area, of which West Prop will offer that once it is completed.
Being in the real eatste industry, this is very good informative shoot. Great to showcase how great values have held in key locations and addresses in and around Africa. Well done for the video.
Those Jacaranda trees are just screaming “ beautiful Zimbabwe”
Thanks for show casing Zimbabwe to the world Steve, I consider it is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, it is a gem. The cities are well planned and there's kinda of like a hierarchy in the use of land whereby it is zoned into 3 different areas ie. the high density areas (low income earners), medium density areas (medium income earners) and finally the low density areas where the affluent people reside. Well done Steve keep up the good work. 🥰 👌👏👏

I wouldn't say the affluent its where people in the middle class live lower middle class , comfortable middle class and upper middle class live

We have a lot of places like these alexandra park , gunhill , milton park , malbrough , colbrough , ridgeveiw etc
Some of these estates’ houses look like Bel-Air in California
Yes Zim is a beautiful place, always been... But this is the rich side only, lets see how the poor are living now under the current regime.. That's when you'll understand there's a very big problem in Zim. It's Rich to richer to richest & poor to poorer to poorest... No middle class.

Every country has rich poor people living different lifestyles..how is that an issue when it comes to Zim...after all Zim doesn't even have slums like S.A, Kenya etc

This is eye opening. Thank you 🙏
Beautiful country with no cowards they are so proud of thier own unlike us Namibians
Thanks for showcasing Zim 👌👌👌
Thanks Steven. Another visually packed episode on Zimbabwe. Interesting home sizes, architecture and yards.🇿🇼
Very well researched and presented. Wow.
This is all very well BUT how many of the unbelievable number of obscenely large and luxurious mansions are built by righteous means??? Some but NOT the majority: Harares real estate is mostly built by corrupted filched money. Zimbabwe has been looted and sucked dry: the few have trampled on the heads of the poor. They won't be taking all those luxurious properties into their coffins with them.

Akadii kuenda ku Mbare Matapi achibva ku Borrowdale? I love this video and I am inspired too. Our country is very safe and beautiful but development needs to happen in all areas and impact all people for it to have more meaning.
